After struggling with infertility for almost 4 years, multiple operations, drugs and IVF we finally conceived. It was then I knew I was terrified to lose our miracle. We bought the owlet days after leaving the hospital, as I was so anxious to let our daughter sleep without being physically watched (in the tiny chance she should stop breathing). It has been the absolutely great! I can leave her in her bassinet and get chores done and I slee great at night knowing she's being monitored. Thank you so much for the peace of mind

I love that I can feel good about going to sleep knowing that my baby is being monitored and that I will be alerted if anything is abnormal. I do wish there were better instructions on he to change the monitor from one size to another sock size.
Pros: Gives you peace of mind, It alerts you through your phone as well, It alerts you when anything is abnormal

Nice to see how deep of a sleep she is in by her heart rate. I am a nurse, so I like this and feel pretty good about it. However, If her feet get cold, it alarms constantly. There are a lot of yellow alarms that can be so frustrating that I just turn it off...then worry and still not sleep. Overall I am glad we have it.

Peace of Mind is Priceless

We bought this right before our son was born in September. He's slept in a bassinet/cradle right next to me ever since, and I hadn't used the Owlet since he was so close. I was beginning to think we wasted our money. This last week, however, he picked up RSV. We used the Owlet for the first time and have loved the peace of mind that comes from being able to check his oxygen levels while he's sleeping and we're not in the room. To those who say it's too pricey, I submit the opinion that you've probably spent more for one night in a nice hotel. If you'd spend that for one night of good sleep, why not on something that will allow many nights of less worry and better sleep?

Sick toddler emergency alarm

My kids are 2 & 4 now, but when they are sick, I still put the Owlet on them for sleeping to ease my anxious heart & mind.
During our infant days of using the owlet with my 2nd (wasn't available with my firstborn) I never had false alarms. Everything ran smoothly etc. Fast forward to a year or so later, both of my boys were so sick with bronchiolitis so I put the sock on them for sleeping so that I could keep an eye on their oxygen. BOTH of my boys on separate days got emergency alarms for low oxygen. This was the winter of 2018 when so many kids were passing away during the winter months while they were sick because of low oxygen levels.
I was able to get them their nebulizer meds to open their airways & bring their levels back up, but what a scary experience. I can't recommend it enough. I'm a customer for life & recommend it to everyone I can. Nothing beats that green glow of peace of mind!

Owlet is Fantastic!

We are first-time parents and purchased this monitor because I was just a super nervous mom! At first, my husband thought it was too expensive, especially with all the other first-time purchases we were making. But he soon realized that there is no cost too high for quality sleep (when you can get it) and piece of mind. Once we got in the habit of charging it when Little One woke up and where to place the base unit to make sure that we could move around with her, it was great! The first few weeks are tough because of their sleep schedules and making sure that the sensor gets charged but its totally worth it!
