This product has been great all around! The piece of mind it provides when I lay my son down to sleep is something I can't put a price tag on. It's so simple to use, I can even slip it on after he has fallen asleep without disturbing him. I also love being able to see his vitals on the app!

Having the owlet helped make the transition of my baby sleeping in her crib much easier on me. Only downfalls I feel are the short distance needed between the sock and base station for them to be connected, but luckily her room isn't far from ours. Sometimes the sock may fall off due to a lot of movement but the base station and my phone alert us to that so we can go place it back on her foot properly. All and all, I think it's a great product and just feel much more at ease having it on my daughters foot.

First, this purchase was a splurge. As a first time mommy, I constantly am fearful of SIDS. It was on my mind every night and I'd wake up fearful. My husband heard about the Owlet and saw how it gave so many parents a "peace of mind". Since using the Owlet, I haven't woken up in fear and have spent way more time actually sleeping instead of staring at the dang video monitor to see if our little love is breathing. Best. Purchase. Ever!!! Just may be my TOP baby required item. We've used for 3 months now...zero false alarms. There has been time it's has difficulty picking up accurately, which is typically due to sock being applied to loose. Simple fix. Lastly, we were debating if we should size up in the sock. Our baby woke up and had a red pinky toe, almost blister-like. I got on Owlet website live chat. They immediately said they would have Customee Service CALL me. That SAME day the co-founder of Owlet personally called me to determine a solution. A dermatologist consult was even offered if I felt necessary. So caring, informative, and in fact we should have simply been sized up to the size 3 sock as our baby is 5 months of age. I was amazed that the co-founder himself would make the call. This is a business that has a small town feel, has a heart of gold, and can give parents such a wonderful peace of mind. Best $ spent. Best sleep ever. Totally a necessary purchase!

Great but not perfect

I bought Owlet monitors for each of my twins since they were born at 28 weeks and I needed the reassurance we got with the monitoring they had while they were in the NICU. The Owlet monitors are great quality, seemingly accurate, and have a stylish design. However, there are two things I wish were different, then these monitors would near perfect! 1) The setup is not easy while setting up the monitors for twins, and once the setup is complete only one baby can be viewed on a phone. Because of this there are nights I had to only rely on the base station for one of our babies since my husband was working late. 2) The newborn sock, no matter how much I adjust it, falls off at least once during the night. Granted our twins are small but even now that they are bigger, they still fall off. This has made us stopped using the monitors recently because wiggly babies kick off the socks and cause the alarms to go off, driving us sleep-deprived parents crazy! I really wanted to totally love everything about the Owlet monitors, and I think I could as everything else is great besides the above cons. Hopefully once we move past the newborn socks it will be a better experience for us (although I feel the newborn stage is the most important time for it to work!)

I was skeptical at first and was hesitant with the price, but after losing my first little one to a heart defect inutero I figured it was worth the investment. Let me tell you, it's worth that and MORE! I feel the Owlet is the only reason I get sleep at night. If she hasn't woken up at her usual time I roll over and make sure the light is pulsing green and go back to sleep. It's been such a life/sleep saver!

I love this product. I definitely sleep better knowing the monitor is on him. If I didn't have this product I would have probably never left the baby in his own room. He's 4 months and already sleeping in his own crib in his room.
