The product is great but the app needs work

I love the product and the piece of mind I get from using it, but the Android app doesn't seem to work 90% of the time. I know it is brand new, so hopefully this will get better as I would like to be able to use the app as well as the base station. Other than that, I love it!

We have been using this for three nights now. I like being able to check his oxygen levels and heart rate. We had the sock fall off once so far. I like the peace of mind it gives us so we can all get some sleep

Why didn't we buy this sooner!?!

After losing our fist child, we were already anxious when our second daughter came along. Our fears only increased when she decided to become a tummy sleeper. (We tried everything to avoid this) Our daughter was sleeping though the night, but we weren't! We were getting up to check on her multiple times throughout the night! We realized how silly it was for us to be up all night when our 3 month old never got up! We also wanted a product that would reassure us she was fine. Owlet did just that and so much more! Now the whole family is sleeping through the night, and we have peace of mind knowing that if something does happen, we will be alerted. We couldn't be happier with the owlet. Our only regret is that we didn't buy it sooner!

The Owlet monitor has been a great tool in reassuring us that our little one is safe as she sleeps. It is reassure to see the green light on the base station and to do a quick check on my phone to see where her hear rate and oxygen levels are. I like that there is a different alert sound for when the monitor is out of position or not getting a good reading compared to alerts for heart rate and oxygen. Out of all the monitors on the market, I feel like the Owlet is the most convenient and gives you the best information in real-time. The only draw back, in my opinion, is that the sock does not have a huge range and must be close to the base station. It would be nice to be able to have the sock also run off of your phone so that you could more easily travel with it. I would also like to see in the future the ability to see statistics/history/average/graphs of the baby's heart rate and oxygen over a period of time and a history of any red alerts.
Pros: Easy to use, Grows with child, Real Time Monitoring, Wireless, low false alarm, monitor heartrate and oxygen
Cons: App difficult to set up, Sock has to be in range of base not just phone

We really like the product. It gives us the piece of mind while our little one is sleeping in the other room. My biggest complaint about the product (and I have contacted the company about it) is that the distance for the sock to the base station is only 10 feet. This means that in order for the sock and base to keep a connection, the base has to be housed in my daughters room. This also means that in order for me to ensure I will hear the monitor I have to put it in near the doorway of her room. We sleep with both doors open because I am afraid I will not hear the monitor through the audio baby monitor. Often times the sock will loose its connection, I don't know why, and it will play an alarm, the alarm has now woken my daughter up because the base is in her room. Also when the alarm does go off the time when it shows up on your phone is lagging, so I would hate to rely on my phone in any case of a red alert. The base also makes a dinging sound when it is turned on, I find myself stuffing it under a pillow to turn it on so it doesn't wake my daughter. My last suggestion for the product would be a battery back up. I know it claims the product still works without wifi, which is good but I think a battery backup in case of a power outage would be smart. I have contacted the company about that as well and they said they would consider it for the professional one. All in all good product, just a few kinks in the legistics.
Pros: Gives my husband and I a piece of mind
Cons: Too small of a radius for base station

Detecs if sock falls from foot and differentiates this from poor signaling or real distress by using different alarms! Simple to use.
Pros: Can monitor vitals from any part of my home
