We use the owlet sock every night. Outs such a piece of mind when sleeping. We of course still follow all safe sleeping protocols and our 5 week old still sleeps in our room, but the sock helps me sleep more sound. It will help also when we transition our baby into her own room in a couple weeks too! It's nice having both the base and app. Our internet was out a few nights, but we could still rely on the base for any indicators. Love this product!
Pros: Use of base and the app
Cons: Time it takes for your app to get results

Peace of Mind

Our daughter spent 3 weeks in the NICU after she was born and one of her issues was breathing. She was delayed from coming home because her sats kept dropping. When we did go home, we were worried about her sats and the Owlet Baby monitor came to the rescue. We noticed a difference in the readings at the hospital and the Owlet (oOwlet being lower - low 90's and some high 80's). My wife read where some other Owlet owners put a sock over the monitor to hold it in place. We tried it and have had fewer alarms since. We traveled with it this weekend and were able to use it even though it wasn't connected to wifi. Of course, our iphones weren't connected to it, but the base station was still active. We highly recommend it.
Pros: Grows with your child, Guided setup process, Smartphone compatibility, Works with and without wifi* *with limitations
Cons: Very sensitive to movement

When we came home from the hospital with our preemie baby I would wake up from every noise he will make or not make and get up to check on him ... Every couple minutes! Our family got us an Owlet and I honestly don't know how people lived without it before, it amazing and it brings me a peace of mind!

Let me start by saying that my baby was diagnosed with epilepsy at 4 months old. We were experiencing many seizures during day time and night time hours. Our family was taking shifts at night to stay awake and watch our baby for seizures. If she had a seizure, she would choke and we had to be there to turn her on her side so she would breathe again. I am very grateful to have found the owlet. Our family is fortunate in that we have a device that immediately alerts us if our baby is in trouble. I can say that I have seen this monitor prove to be reliable many many times. I would recomend this product to anyone who is hungry for peace of mind and a little more sleep. It is user friendly and I have had great experiences with customer service. I hope this review helps anyone who may be looking for an answer like I was 8 months ago. Our baby is almost 1 and we are very excited to see her grow every day!

I am a first time mom and with that comes all kinds of anxieties and stresses... it's nice to have something that takes one of those anxieties away from me. The owlet has brought so much peace of mind to my husband while we sleep! While we know it won't prevent anything, it will alert us if anything unexpected were to happen, and that allows us to sleep a lot better at night. Without the owlet I'd be staring at my daughter all night making sure she was breathing! Love this product and cannot recommend it enough.

I can not say enough how thankful I am for this product! We have not had any alarms but just knowing baby is being monitored helps me sleep so much better! I was hesitant to make the purchase at first because of the price and due to the fact that Wifi is not available where I live. It has been worth every penny! My baby's life is far more valuable than the cost of the Owlet! I would & do recommend this to every Mommy! Having a newborn for the first time in your home is an adjustment in itself, Owlet helps make sleeping easier & gives you peace of mind that baby is OK! The only downfall to the Owlet is having to recharge it every day & I only say that because I forgot to plug it up one morning & didn't notice until late that afternoon so I worried throughout the night that the battery was going to die (it did not)! I have never received a false alarm & only receive the yellow alarm when I forget to turn the base station off before removing the sock from his foot! If I could buy one of these for every Mommy I knew I would!

Love Love Love our Owlet

My LO is about to turn 1 year old and we've been using this monitor since she was two weeks. We love it. Only one false alarm the entire time. At first, I couldn't get the perfect fit and got a few yellow notifications. But then I put a normal sock on over the owlet and everything went smooth from there. This monitor has provided great peace of mind, especially when my LO is sick and I want to know her oxygen levels are ok. It goes with us when we travel so we always know she's ok. I recommend this device to every parent. It's worth the money and worth taking the time to figure out the right fit. My only wish is that it would provide body temp, so I knew if my LO had a fever. When she's sick, I always fear she'll spike a fever at night and I won't know. An alarm for high fever would make this item the absolute greatest. Thank you guys so much for this awesome product and for the peace of mind!
