We put the sock on my son every night, and as first time parents, we could hardly sleep because we were so worried. We received our sock when our son was about 2 weeks old, and the difference was incredible. One night the red alarm went off because he had turned his face right next to his chair, and his oxygen level dropped too low. I can't even fathom what may have happened if he wasn't wearing the Owlet. My husband and I have said it before, but this was by far the best purchase we have ever made. It is worth every penny. Thank you Owlet team for creating such an incredible device for our sweet children.

Great piece of mind, but too sensitive

My husband and I use the Owlet every night, and it gives us total piece of mind. The only downfall to the product is that it only can be used with wifi, and it takes too long to get a reading. If my baby wiggles just a little bit, the Owlet does not get a reading.
Pros: Sick fits properly at any size, Very accurate, Works with an app
Cons: Device too sensitive, need wifi

I love the sock and base station. They seem to work really well, and does provide a certain peace of mind. I also knew that the android app was in beta, but it hasn't worked for me at all. Never connects correctly and i have only gotten actual number readings once. I feel like android users dont get full utility out of this product at this time.

Our owlet monitor went off around 630 in the morning alerting me to low oxygen in our baby. I went in to find him gasping for air and struggling. It turns out he was having an asthma attack and needed his medication quickly. I'm very grateful our monitor was on that morning as the outcome for our son could have been very different

Cannot imagine life without the Owlet

We use the Owlet each night. It gives us incredible peace of mind. I check the app often while I am still awake and then only check again after I put my baby back to sleep after feeding. A great combination would include the owlet with a video monitor. In the beginning we were altered a few times when we took the baby out of range or when the sock would fall off. We quickly learned the range distance and used a sock over the owlet to keep it in place. We later used the owlet inside the footed pajamas and have not had problems. Our baby has slept with it every night for 4 months now and does not seem bothered.

Using the owlet each night allows me to get better sleep. If I wake up worried about him I just glance at my phone to make sure everything is okay. This way I don't have to touch him or turn a light on to check for breathing and risk waking him up. Before, I couldn't sleep for fear that something would happen to him and I wouldn't be there to help. I feel like I'm protecting my baby and lowering my anxiety with this protect. Thank you owlet!
