We love our sock so much! The baby doesn't even notice it, so makes it easy to use. No need to be constantly worried about baby sleeping alone in his crib.
Pros: Easy to use! Charges fast. Peace of mind.
Cons: Sizes stops at 18m. Won't read if baby moves

While pregnant with my first child, I was unsure initially about purchasing the product. I had spent so much money on all of the latest gadgets, fancy swings and tons of clothes. I had received a baby monitor as a gift and was not entirely convinced that the Owlet would be needed. It was not until the first week sleeping with my newborn by my side that I was made aware of the value that the Owlet could possibly provide over that of a monitor. I was waking up whenever my baby made a noise, had irregular breathing, or was quiet. In a panic, I would run over to the crib, put my hand on his chest, of course waking him up in the process. It was after 1 week of this horrible nighttime routine that I ordered the Owlet. I received it promptly and after reading all of the instructions, watching the video, I was able to set it up quickly. I had that night, my first stretch of sleep in 2 weeks. The base monitor gives off a pulsating green color when the babys vital signs are stable. I keep the base monitor on my nightstand, when I wake up and have any question as to the safety of my son, i just open my eyes and look at the base monitor and am able to go right back to sleep. The green glow of the room has quickly become a beautiful and comforting thing for me. This product has changed my life as a first time mother. I am a healthcare provider in an ER. I have seen first hand the devastation of losing a child to SIDS, and now being a mother cant comprehend NOT using the Owlet to help prevent this. This product will quickly become the most important investment you make in preparation for the arrival of your child. I highly recommend it without an ounce of hesitation.
Pros: Provides peace of mind, Reasonably priced, User friendly
Cons: The app does not function well.

I love the owlet. It has definitely help me be more comfortable going to sleep at night. My daughter was born at 27 weeks, so we were in the nicu for quite a while where she was constantly hooked up to a monitor. So from going to being on monitor 24/7 to nothing the day we went home was scary. I would definitely recommend it to all nicu parents.

Gives peace of mind

My daughter was a premie and was in the NICU for 25 days. When she was discharged, my husband and I told that it was very unlikely that she would have any oxygen or heart rate dips. About two weeks after being home, our baby had an ALTE (an apparent life threatening event). She stopped breathing and I thought she was dead. I stimulated her and she started breathing again. She was put on a medical monitor, but my husband and I wanted something for when we no longer have the medical monitor. We bought the Owlet and love it! I love that our daughter doesn't have to wear cords and that we can have peace of mind because we will be alerted it something was wrong.
Pros: Gives you peace of mind, Little to no false alarms, Your baby doesn't have to wear cords, you can see your baby's stats
Cons: Only goes on one foot so you can't alternate fee, The oxygen level is set too low at 80

I sleep soundly knowing my rainbow baby is safe

I lost my last baby unexpectedly in his sleep. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't know how I could possibly sleep because I'd be so worried that something would happen to him, too. The Owlet has allowed me to sleep peacefully knowing that my baby is alive and well. I do wish there was a way for it to work in the car, though. Maybe in the future? Either way, I recommend this to anyone, and especially to loss parents that are terrified of the worst since the worst already happened. Worth every penny!
