After a heart breaking loss at 28 weeks during my first pregnancy, this one made both my husband and I extremely nervous. I mentioned this product to my husband and he immediately wanted it. We got through delivery, but discovered a large hernia that had to be operated on. After 4 nights in the NICU (with constant monitoring), we were crazy nervous about bringing home our little bundle of joy. The Owlet allowed a drained mama and papa get some peace of mind and both got some sleep! The setup was easy (though there was a little glitch but it didn't seem to affect anything). I wish it could do just a little bit more like record the vitals from the night or get temperature as well. It's only been a day with it, but I'm already so glad we splurged and got it.

I use this product only at night when we are sleeping for peace of mind. I love knowing she's safe even though my eyes aren't on her. Baby was 5 weeks early and the smallest sock fit but was rather large. I like that there are different alarm sounds for when the sock isn't getting a good reading verses when her readings fall out of range. I would recommend this to any parent no matter how many children they already have (this is my fourth and first time using this). I bought another for my sister in law who's due in August.
Pros: Love knowing baby is being monitored
Cons: 5 pound baby and smallest sock was too large

I got this for my second baby which surprised me since everyone says you are more laid back after the first. Maybe it was because I know more this time. Our bedrooms are on the other side of the house and I am afraid I won't hear her on the monitor if something goes wrong so it's extra peace of mind for me. Especially with it being winter and she gets snotty easily and chokes. It did take me about a week to mess around with the settings. One night it just kept throwing the yellow signal and drove me crazy since the baby was fine but she is really wiggly. Once I adjusted everything it worked great.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy to put on, Good Design
Cons: Took a little bit of adjusting settings

This is a peace of mind for parents with kids that have health issues. we know it's expensive but there are certain things you cannot put a price on! The only thing is that we wanted to order an extra pulse sock and didn't mind paying for it but can't believe the shipping it's more expensive than the actual pulse sock!! What in the world? That was kind of disappointing!

I'm pretty sure the Owlet is the only reason I get any sleep. Even when I was babysitting and nannying, I was constantly checking to make sure babies and kids were still breathing in their sleep. I still wake up and check on my baby in his cradle, but I'm able to fall back asleep knowing Owlet is there. If I didn't have Owlet, it would be very hard for me to put him in his cradle instead of holding him all night, even though that's statistically less safe than putting him in his cradle. This momma is grateful for Owlet!
