Wonderful product that every parent should have

We use the owlet every night on our daughter who has been dealing with acid reflux. I was always nervous that she would stop breathing due to spit up and would lose sleep. Her wearing this gives me peace of mind. I wish she could wear it when she's in her swing but that is my only complaint. The base station can be pretty far from her too. We have it on our night stand and she is in the next room over. This is a must have!
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy to use, Peace of mind
Cons: Cannot use in moving devices such as a swing

The product works fantastic and really does provide us with a peace of mind. Before we had this we were constantly getting up to make sure the baby was ok, now we can just open an eye and see that the base station is green and go back to sleep. Another beautfiul feature is that if the baby kicks her sock off it plays a tune and the base station turns yellow so you dont freak out. If heart rate or oxygen levels get too low then there is an alarm and the base station turns red on top of another alarm on your phone warning you before anything happens. We Love this.

Peace of mind

My baby was born 6 weeks early. As preemies are the most vulnerable to SIDS I decided to invest in the owlet monitor. It was the best decision I've made for my baby. It gives me peace of mind. It's very easy to use & works great! I've had no issues with it.

I was very excited to receive this product. I had done a lot of research before our baby was born to find something that would give me a little peace of mind. This was the only product that I found that I even was excited about buying. I love the way it works and alerts me. I would say that they only down falls for me right now would be that my baby does like to kick the sock off quite frequently and that I wish you could go back on the app and look at heart rate and O2 averages.
Pros: Easy to use., Great customer service if needed., Peace of mind for a first time mom.
Cons: My baby likes to kick the sock off.

The owlet has changed the way I sleep. Knowing that I will be alerted if my son stops breathing takes so much stress off me. I love that I can check on his rates through the app. His heart rate goes up and down while I watch so I know it's working. The sock doesn't disturb him and he seems comfortable wearing it. It can be worn with footed jammies or a sock and inside his swaddle blanket. The base is loud if it needs to alerts you which is awesome if you are sound asleep and your baby stops breathing. It's not so awesome when it tells you that the sock is disconnected from the base. Which means the sock and your base are too far apart. However, you can set the alerts so that it doesn't alert you every time that happens. The sock with reconnect with the base on its own if it's able to. I don't love that the sock disconnects from the base at times. We keep the base in our room which is about 20 feet away from my sons room. Some nights it disconnects multiple times other nights it is fine. However, this should not keep you from buying the product. The base rings loudly if there is a problem. I could put it in the hall or in the nursery and I know it would still wake me and my husband up if it went off. The other thing that is a bit annoying is that the sock needs to be recharged each day. It is charged through the base. After I change the baby in the morning I have to plug it into the base. Sometimes I forget and the sock is not ready to wear at bed time. It does however charge quickly (an hour or so) then I can put on the baby's foot before I go to bed. The Owlet is a life changing device that will help parents get a peace of mind that their child is being monitored while they sleep.
