No more sleepless mommy

The Owlet is one purchase I do not regret. Both of my children have been very sound sleepers early on. Both sleeping through the night by 6 weeks old. With my first I was so anxious about her sleeping and not waking that I had endless sleepless nights from worrying about her. This time my husband seen the owlet and ordered it thinking it would give me peoce of mind and it has. The socks appear to be comfortable and are easy to put on. My daughter does not seem to mind wearing it. They are easy to launder and are made of a very soft material. The infant sock says 0-1 month but my daughter wore it up to 3 months old. The app is great and easy to use and I can check on my peanut in the evening when she is wearing it even if I am not home. The connect app is great as it tracks the babies sleep, heart rate, and oxygen levels through the night. As of right now 4mo in we have not had any false alarms. The app that tracks is great as we notced that the babies heart rate had been higher over a few nights, she ended up having a urine infection (my daughter has known VUR and a sign of infection is increased heart rate) we caught early because of the owlet sock! The only negatives I have are not worth downgrading the star rating or returning the owlet. The first negative is it is very sensitive to motion, so if your baby is awake, restless, or in a swing/momma roo it does not read. Second when nursing if I forget to turn the base off it will play the alarm for being disconnected and it will wake up the entire house! Third I really like the connect app and I do pay for it but I personally feel that at the price of the system itself it should be included with the purchase or the system should have an internal memory or spot for a micro sd to store data. All in all I wish they would have had these 6 years ago with my oldest child. It really has been wonderful and I rest easier with my baby wearing it nightly. I recommend it to all parents!

A peace of mind

As a first time mom I found myself checking on my son every 5 minutes to make sure he was okay. The Owlet is a life saver! It has given me something I needed, a peace of mind. Knowing my son is safe is a great gift. This product is a must.

Can't put baby to bed without his sock!

My baby has worn his owlet from day we brought him home! This product allows me to sleep as I have severe anxiety about SIDS. I like that it can't be "tricked" like other motion censored monitors , ex he can wear it while in the swing or bouncer and still be monitored, while other monitors we have used the movements generated from swing/seat would indicate that baby's abdomin was moving....... almost nightly we have to unplug/replug the monitor for the wifi, not a big deal but little inconvenience, wish we could use this on long car rides, it easy to take with us if we are staying away from home..... we have four children and have used a monitor with each, this is the best!!! However, my 3rd son wore a monitor until age 2 and I do not believe even the added sock for purchase will fit that time frame
Pros: Great technology, Peace of mind, Portability, User friendly
Cons: Doesn't work in car, Limited long term use, wifi connection can be quirky

We use Owlet at night time or when we nap with our baby, the best peace of mind we've ever had with a newborn! We will definitely use it for all our future babies!! Can't say enough great things about Owlet, we haven't had one issue with it!!!

Peace of mind

With my first child I was constantly jumping up to check if she was breathing. I could never fully get some rest since I was always worried about her. As soon as I heard about the owlet I knew it would be something I purchased if I had another baby. Now with a newborn at home again the ease that this little sock gives me is amazing. I love checking her levels even when I'm awake just to see how she's doing

Is there really a price for peace of mind?

I love love love this product. As a busy litigator and new momma, my nights and sleep and very important. I love being able to see both the oxygen and hear rate levels of my newborn on my phone. I also love that I don't have to sneak into her room and disturb her by placing my hand on her chest, or face near her body to know that she is breathing okay. Another great use, my husband and I discovered that she is likely awake when the heart rate goes above what we call, her "sleeping mode", and we know to go check her, because she is likely UP!
