Can't sleep without it

I love my owlet. I was skeptical at first especially the price, but I can tell you it's worth it. I can't sleep without it on him. I've been using it 3 months and highly recommend it.
Pros: Peace of mind, sleep
Cons: Base station has to be close by

Absolutely loving the owelet. As a NICU nurse and just having my second baby, the owelet has truly been so helpful. Bringing a new baby home brings all kinds of anxiety and knowing the owelet is tracking my babies heart rate and oxygen let's me rest a little easier without constantly checking if she's breathing through the night. It's a great piece of mind knowing it will alarm if something is potentially wrong. We've had zero alarms or issues and Would definitely recommend to anyone bringing home a new baby!

I preordered my owlet this summer before our second daughter was born. The idea of being able to know oxygen levels is very useful when deciding if a visit to the pediatrician is needed and also reassurance that baby is sleeping well in the nursery. Our daughter was just over 5 pounds when we left the hospital, which confirmed my decision to buy a rather pricey baby gadget. Since she is at a higher risk of SIDS, I sleep better knowing she is safe and sound in her bassinet in the nursery.

We bought the Owlet for our primie grandson. He came home and suffered a severe Brady event which the monitor immediately picked up and sent out notifications. We are thankful for the Owlet monitoring system.

Inevitably at some point in a new parents first couple months, the thought of SIDS becomes terrifying. I had purchased a motion detector for my son's crib, and several times I got an alarm. One was a false alarm, but the other I couldn't tell for sure. I woke my son up in a panic after I couldn't easily detect whether he was breathing. That was the night I began feverishly researching better options, and I came across Owlet. Owlet has completely changed things for my family, and I would have paid anything for that piece of mind. Owlet is so easy to use: we slip the sock on his foot before he goes down for the night, and are able to relax knowing that we will be alerted if there is anything wrong. And it won't be a false alarm. I've recommended Owlet to several new moms. In fact I was chatting with a pregnant stranger while shopping and she was asking me about what the best products were for her registry. I listed several of my favorites, walked away, and realized I hadn't mentioned Owlet. I tracked this woman down in the store to make sure she knew about it, as it was the MOST IMPORTANT item I've purchased for my son.
