We were new parents, and when Mariah came into our lives, we were overjoyed. I had heard about Owlet, and decided to make the investment on account of other parents I had heard about---that couldn't sleep well at night, because of their worry over their baby's breathing. We used it for about a week before we had our first red-alert. When we checked our little girl, it seemed she had stopped breathing. When we touched her, she startled back into a normal breathing rhythm. Owlet may have saved her life. #ForeverGrateful

Peace of Mind

My daughter Rowen was born on March 5, 2016 at 36 weeks and 6 days. She was born with a few complications and therefore was transferred to All Children's Hospital a few hours after birth. During the 3 weeks she was there she had 3 surgeries and still has 1 more surgery scheduled in a couple of months. Needless to say my husband and I were a bit nervous to bring her home. The Owlet baby monitor has been a huge blessing. It gives us both peace of mind knowing that while she sleeps we can monitor her heart and oxygen levels to make sure that she is ok and sleeping well. Our daughter has been doing great since she has been home and my husband and I have adjusted to life with a newborn wonderfully. We are so glad that we decided to purchase this product! Have already recommended the Owlet to friends! Thank you so much to the people at Owlet for creating this wonderful product!

Need to work on the interface btwn the monitor & Android

The system is easy to set up and use. The sock doesn't seem to bother my son but the interfere between the monitor and the app on my phone needs alot of work. I have a Samsung Android based phone and it is pretty much useless. It is consistently telling me that the connect has been lost or that my son is wiggling when I am standing over him and he isn't moving at all. The connection between the foot sock and the monitor works well so I have just placed the base next to the baby monitor. Moving the owlet monitor directly into our room isn't an option because the distance to apparently too far.
Pros: Stays on my sons foot most nights, The monitor and foot sock are working well
Cons: Connection between monitor and cell phone app

The newborn size sock is constantly falling off my babies foot causing the alarm to go off and waking us all up... I love the product but this has caused a lot of annoyance with already sleep deprived parents

I like this product overall. There seems to be a lot of alerts that the sock can't find a reading and when I check the sock is on my baby. I do wish I had this for my first baby. I would recommend this product. The comfort in knowing that my baby is monitored all night is irreplaceable.

We use the smart sock every night. It took a little while to connect the app To the base station because the correct app wasn't in the App Store. Tech support was a great help and solved our issues quickly. It sure does help knowing that baby is safe at night.

I use the owlet every night. My daughter doesn't even notice that she is wearing it. Before I go to bed I check the Owlet app to see my daughters heart rate and oxygen level. There have been several nights that the Base will go off but not because of my daughter but the base has lost wifi connection.
Cons: Wifi disconnects from owlet frequently
