We use the owlet as much as we can! Unfortunately we ended up co sleeping with our baby after the first couple of months because she ended up waking every 2-3 hours to nurse... :( We are slowly transitioning her back to her crib, so we use the owlet for naps (and any other time she is in her crib) and absolutely LOVE having peace of mind. We did try to use it multiple times while co sleeping, but it didn't work for us. It ended up waking us up with the "yellow and blue" alarms more than we wanted so we did without.

I really like the thought of this monitor and in theory it should help you rest easy, but I find myself getting more yellow alerts and adjust sock notifications then I do actual readings. Which causes me to worry more, I find myself waking up to make sure the sock is reading correctly. I follow the directions and sock placement for the newborn sock and it doesn't seem to hekp anything. Fidgeting with the foot of a newborn can only last so long before you disturb them. I want to really like this, I'm hoping the different size socks get better readings, but if not the it would be a waste of money. Unfortunately we won't know until my baby grows into the size 1 sock.
Cons: Newborn sock is tough to get accurate reading
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used our Owlet Smart Sock every night for our Son since he has come home from the NICU. We have experienced the alarm about 10 times in the past 5 months. Each time he has been doing well, he would occasionally have a temporary drop in his heart rate, called bradycardia, that can be normal and babies usually grow out of. In experiencing this we are confident in the reliability of our Owlet SmartSock and have come to know comfort while using it! I have been recommending the product to friends and family since we first began using our Owlet SmartSock! I look forward to when parents have the ability to view vitals data history. Whether it be for 24 hour period or longer. I feel this will be helpful for child's physicians to evaluate as needed, although I know this is not a medical device, our Son did not require at home monitoring with a medical device at any point.
Pros: Becomes fully charged in short period of time!, Easy to use with iPhone app or without!, Offers peace of mind., Reliable., User Friendly!, iPhone app informs you of low monitor battery.
Cons: Cannot currently access vitals data history.

Love the concept, the piece of mind that it brings, the state of the art technology and thought behind the product -second to none. Only things I would add are as follows and this is just to better an already perfect product: * a hard wired reading device (could possibly be a secondary purchase option - as not necessary but nice to have) that sits on the parents beside table and constantly displays the readings from the base station. * an option to trigger an non alert - just some music or something when bubby has been wiggling for over your choice of time (I just find because bubby sleeps in his own room and the base station is in there I can really hear bubby crying until he is really upset). So if he was wiggling for over 3 mins straight a peaceful alert to wake me up to go and feed him would be awesome. * Availability in more countries.
Pros: Can access on any mobile device, Sound sleep for everyone

We use this product at night when our twins are in their cribs. It gives us peace of mind to actually fall asleep. I think they need to work on being a little more twin friendly. Currently, my husband and I each had to download the app and each have 1 kid. Also, both socks linked to one base at the initial setup, which took us a few days to figure out. It also took a while to reset and get them to link correctly.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Gives me peace of mind to be able to sleep, Rarely falls off
Cons: Not very twin friendly. Only Con!

This is a great product and gives us lots of price of mind. I love that it's small and lightweight our baby doesn't seem to mind it at all. The only thing is it sometimes takes an extended period of time to get reading or it says "baby is wiggling" when the baby is perfectly still.

As a first time Mom, the Owlet is my peace of mind. I had a lot of anxiety about switching him to his crib at three months and this just melted that anxiety away! I love it and will definitely be suggesting it to other parents.

Sometimes it says he's moving when he's not, and it would be nice if it worked when he was moving a little. Overall, we absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone. We probably each get a couple hours more sleep a night with not having to constantly worry about him compared to our older child
