A must-have!!!

My husband and I are both first responders who sadly have had to see the devastating effect SIDS has on families all too often. When I heard about the owlet from a friend who swears by it, we immediately ordered one! Our baby girl was born one month ago and has worn the owlet every night. I can not even put into words how much of a relief it is knowing that there is an "extra set of eyes" watching over our baby while she sleeps. The sock and app are both so easy to use, our baby doesn't even notice she's wearing the sock, and my husband and I have had many nights of solid sleep knowing that we will be alerted if anything goes wrong. THANK YOU to the hardworking geniuses behind this fantastic product!! I have already started recommending to all my expecting friends!!

I can't express how much the Owlet have saved our lives! I tried a couple different monitors with my first child and didn't like them as much. They were constantly giving us false alarms and it got to the point my husband didn't like to use them so essentially they didn't give us any comfort and caused us lack of sleep. My first daughter was a preemie so we spent many nights watching her sleep. When my second daughter arrived full term I purchased the Owlet and we couldn't be happier! It's so easy to use and it doesn't give us all the false alarms as the others did. My daughter doesn't even notice that it's on. It has fallen off on a couple occasions (probably from her little wiggly feet) and the alarm isn't at all scary. It has allowed my husband and I complete peace of mind during the night and even with naps during the day. I really love the app on my phone as well. Being a nurse it's nice to know her vital signs especially when I'm at work during the nights when my mom watches the girls. I can't rave enough on the Owlet and I wished it had been around when my first little one was born! I have a couple nurse friends that are pregnant and I've already convinced them to purchase it as well, they love the fact that it's easy to use, reliable, and for them both being new moms, they are terrified of SIDS. You can't put a price on your child's life and the Owlet monitor was definitely worth every penny!!!

We use the product mostly at night time and occasionally at nap time. I work evening, and knowing that my husband has the sock on my son and I can check it from an app on my phone give me peace of mind. If there is an alert, I get it on my phone usually followed by a text from my husband telling me that everything is OK. We have had a few false Yellow alerts, the sock falls off....and only 1 RED alert, my son rolled on to his belly and was face down, once I picked him up he cried and it was a wonderful sound!! Would suggest making it so that the base station can be more than 10 feet away from the sock, would suggest all open toe socks, and would really recommend doing updates during the day. My current situation my 12 week old is able to roll on to his tummy, and unable to roll back. He is strong willed and determined to sleep on his tummy.....normally this would be cause for concern, however, having the Owlet is an added bonus to the frequent check that occur.
Pros: affordable, easy to monitor, Easy to use, Peace of mind
Cons: Sock and base need to be within 10feet, closed toe socks fall off, updates at night when it is most in use

We use the Owlet with our 5 month old daughter. It was very easy to install and use. I can't even describe the peace of mind we now feel when we put our daughter down for bed. I even bring it with us when we travel-I can't go to sleep without it! I highly recommend the Owlet to all parents of infants.

We use the product for what they say not to; so our baby can sleep on his stomach. He won't sleep any other way and this is the most rest assuring way that he is fine throughout the night. One this is sometimes the sock will disconnect from the base even though baby and base are in the same room. No reason and is hard to get to reconnect. Very frustrating at 3AM. The app went down for service on Friday and hasn't worked since. Very frustrating. This product works 98% of the time. The 2% that it has issues are frustrating but worth it.
Pros: Tells heart rate, Tells oxygen level
Cons: Sometimes app does not work, Sometimes sock disconnects from base
