I can sleep knowing my baby is breathing. He s 7 weeks early and spent 17 days in the NICU. His breathing drops but he regulates it himself and brings it back up. NICU wasn't concerned with it and we came home without anything:) the main reason we got the owlet is because one day we were doing tummy time and he fell asleep. I let him sleep and didn't leave his side for 3 straight hours. He even picked his head up to move to the other side! I could not allow myself to let him sleep this way at night. He was up every hour and a half. I put the owlet on at first during nap times to be sure it works. I trust this product and I am not endorsing babies sleeping on their bellies! I know back is best! He definitely sleeps on his back too. The owlet alarms easily and I am okay with that!
Pros: Very sensitive so you are assured it is working
Cons: The little booty comes off easily.

Pros: Easy to use, I can sleep when my baby sleeps without worry., Non invasive
Cons: Need to wear footy pjs or it gets kicked off

Peace of mind

I use the owlet every night. Our newborn daughter sleeps in a small bassinet next to our bed, but because we have previously lost a baby when I was nine months pregnant, having such an intuitive monitor gives me peace of mind and allows me to actually sleep. In the past, I spent my nights mostly awake, checking our baby's breathing and movement, even though we had monitors. The owlet really been helpful for us, and while I hope we never experience a true emergency, I feel confident that the monitor week alert us immediately.

So grateful to have this piece of technology that will "watch" baby breathe for me so I can get rest at night! I recommend this for ALL parents of newborns & infants!
Pros: Constant monitoring so I can sleep!

Peace of Mind for a Parent of a Preemie

As a parent of a micro-preemie, we became used to the monitors during our son's 4 month NICU stay. Although this isn't for medical uses, it is still peace of mind knowing that his Sat's are good (since with a breathing mat we knew he could be breathing just fine, but not saturating his body well). It does fall off his foot occasionally, but we appreciate that when he is moving and it can't get a good reading, it simply says "[Child] is wiggling" (in the hospital if their probes couldn't get a good reading, the monitors would alarm, which was unnecessary since 99% of the time it was because the kid was wiggling). Worth the money for the peace of mind of rolling over, taking a glance at the app, and going right back to sleep.
Pros: Able to turn the alarms off, Accurate information, Fits a small foot, Long Battery Life
Cons: Disconnects from base station if to far away, lullaby on base station is really annoying

I'm so glad we made the decision to get one. At first we were skeptical about the price and would it really work, but it does. We had a few issues at first with not putting the sock on tight enough and letting our little one slip it off or putting it to far from the base but if you follow the instructions it works great. If I wake up I see the green light and know I can go right back to sleep without having to get up. I generally check the stats on my phone before going to bed and I know it's working perfectly. We've used this every night for the last three months and love it. I would recommend this to every mom and say it is worth the money.

Brings a peace of mind to your household

We love using our owlet because it lets us sleep mkre peacefully at night knowing that if anything is abnormal with our baby that should be of concern, that we will be notified immediately. They've made it so simple to slip on your baby while you are getting their pajamas on them- making it part of your nightly routine. Only thing that I need to get used to is turning it off during night feedings because the alarm goes off and scares me and the baby sometimes.
Cons: Remembering to turn it off during night feedings
