Outstanding product - highly recome

We are based in the UK and have had this app for 4 months now. My wife is a surgeon and had spoken to a paediatric consultant who recommended it. We didn't want to have our baby sleeping on the same room as us (so we could all sleep better) but we wanted him carefully monitored to protect against SIDS. Owlett gives outstanding peace of mind and is so easy to use. We take it with us when we travel and you just log it on to the new wifi and it works fine. We did unusually have a faulty sock and base station at first but Owlett were very good and sent us replacements immediately and the replacements have worked fine for the past 3 months and considering we live in the UK we were pleasantly surprised at the lengths they went to to express replacements to us and communicate well with us.
Pros: Excellent app., Great customer care., Intuitive and easy to use., Well designed.
Cons: The app Can occasionally be a little glitchy

It's ok to want peace of mind

It's completely normal for moms to worry about the very rare but very scary chances of SIDS or baby getting trapped under a blanket or side of crib. It's even worse for working moms. Owlet helps me sleep and feel better when I am at work, knowing I will get an alarm if something is wrong. My baby is not a premie, nor am I generally a neurotic parent (quite the opposite). No one expects to be the rare statistic, but if I can protect against one of the common parental fears for the price of a week's groceries why not do it?Knowing my child is ok is priceless. My only gripe is inability of the sensor to report when the child is active. Of course that's not a common situation for problems but for a working mom it would be nice to have a more uninterrupted sense of security.
Pros: Accuracy, Easy to use, No False Alarms, Peace of mind
Cons: Finicky with swings and rockers, Only works during sleep

I would buy this product again! Gave us pice of mind at night for our baby. He spent 3 weeks in the nicu after he was born and had issues with episodic breathing and bradycardia. It was nice to know we had something help monitor him when he came home.

I gave it 4 out of 5 because It's a great product. Love that I can check on my baby anytime. The only feature it's missing is the baby's temperature. I know this would be a hard feature to add but definitely would love to see that in the next version.

We love our Owlet. We purchased when my son was around 2.5 months old and I wish we had it from day one! (we didn't find out about it until the time of purchase). For nervous new parents, especially those of a NICU preemie, it was money well spent. Never slept so sound!
Pros: Parents sleep better, cool info, user friendly
Cons: Can fall off if child is too fidgety.

I am a PA, and this monitor is a great help in allowing me to not sleep with one eye open. HOWEVER, it can also make you crazy if you Keep watching the numbers. My suggestion-- put it on, make sure it's reading, and then close the phone. Setup was a little frustrating as it just said the baby kept wiggling for 45 min. After a few trouble shoots it got better.
Pros: Works most of the time
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

When I first saw this product me and my wife were a couple of months pregnant. I instantly decided there and then that I would be purchasing. It arrived in great simplistic packaging and was super easy and user friendly to set up. Everything was very clear and thought out by the company. The video tutorials are a great help. That been said, it still took some getting used to. The different flashing signals and finding out exactly how far you can drift from the base station before the alarm goes off. It may seem really simple. But to new parents on 3 or 4 hours sleep a night it was slightly confusing at times. I recommend that you put the sock on before feeding time. That way after you've done feeding your little one won't be disturbed by you putting on the sock. After three days of been home I sliced my thumb cooking so the sock was difficult to get on. If you have the patience to get through the early stages of getting to know and learning about this product then it is highly rewarding. The readings are accurate and the system is very stable. One suggestion I'd like to make to owlet is that I feel it would be good to fire out some "what to do if that dreaded red light flashes" tips out there.
Pros: Helps me sleep, Peace of mind
Cons: No temperature check, Takes some getting use to
