Great Product, Peace of mind at night.

I use the owlet care system every night. I sleep better knowing my child is constantly monitored throughout the night. I wish had bought it sooner. The only thing I don't like is that you have to connect both your phone and owlet system to the same internet to see the readings. I am a working mommy, so it would have been awesome if I could check in on my sleeping baby while at work (the babysitter uses the system). Another internet issue is that we have limited internet options for where we live. We can only use the hotspots from a different phone. It still works without the use of internet or phone, so that is great!
Pros: Better sleep at night!
Cons: Internet connection

My husband and I bought our Owlet for our newborn baby boy in April! All of us absolutely love our Owlet!! It is easy to install and set up, the sock is comfortable to wear on his foot and charges quickly! Being a first time mom and first time parents my husband and I love having and using our Owlet, it gives us piece of mind knowing that it is always monitoring our son and will alert us if something is wrong. We can't thank the creators of the Owlet product enough for an amazing product that we believe every baby should have!!

My husband really wanted some time of device like this so I went along with it... I had no idea how much I would love it. It really helps with added peace of mind that while I sleep someone else has an eye on my baby. Obviously not fool proof but even psychologically it allows me to sleep better... which allows me to be a better mom - Everyone WINS! The only thing I will say is if you forget to change the sock one day it won't last the next night... would be good for a 2 day charge I think just in case
Pros: Cute design, Doesn't bother the baby at all, Peace of mind, helps ME sleep better
Cons: the battery life is for one day

We use the Owlet monitor overnight while baby sleeps. Mom and dad get more sleep because we know we will be alerted if our baby stops breathing or if his heart rate gets too low or high.
Pros: Easy to use, Helps parents get more and better sleep, Safe for baby, Wonderful peace of mind

This product is a true blessing to a new exhausted worried parent. It gives peace of mind and helps to ease restless worried minds. I do wish it had the ability to cover more area so baby could sleep away from the base station and still be monitored and I also wish there were other options besides the sock which are a little difficult to get a not too loose nor too tight size as well as (sometimes) difficult to keep on wiggling and kicking feet. I LOVE that these products are made. The safety of our children is truly important and I just wish these monitors were more affordable so more parents could purchase them and hopefully more babies could be protected!

We put the sock on right before bedtime for night monitoring, and take it off in the morning for charging. When walking around her nursery at night burping her, the sock often becomes disconnected from the base (we live in 650 square feet, not big so its suprising within 15 feet it disconnects). It frustrates my husband in the middle of the night to have all the alerts going off its disconnected. Happens almost every night. I appreciate the piece of mind at night when the baby is young, but the fact it disconnects so often (again we live in a very small space) makes it frustrating to use since I often need to stop what I am doing to reconnect rather than focusing on the baby. My husband refuses to put on the sock at night around week 2 because of the constant alarms that would go off. Its a shame because I think the product has potential but this needs to be addressed before I would recommend it to my pregnant mom friends.
Pros: Good fit, app is easy to use and simple, doesnt take up much room, the alarms/alerts are easy to hear, the light is easy to see
Cons: It disconnects from the base way too often, Needs right and left socks for all sizes, The distance from the sock to base range is bad, Short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Product ~ Peace of Mind for baby on oxygen

I LOVE my Owlet... My LO is on home oxygen due to being born at 24 weeks. She came home on oxygen and the hospital did not provide a monitor to see if she desats... Every night she pulls her prongs out at least once and the Owlet alarms and I know right away. As soon as I put her prongs back in her nose her sats shoot right back up... I am not sure what I would do if I did not have the Owlet, or how she would be if she pulled them out and I did not know. That would be devastating!
