This product saves you so much trouble

This system is amazing. I had a friend lose a baby when she was asleep so I was extremely paranoid with my first child when he was sleeping. I was constantly checking on him, always touching him in his sleep to make him move, and In return he would usually wake up. Then I would have to spend an hour or so getting him back in bed and it was just really time consuming. So for my second child, who is now 3 months old, someone recommended this product to me and I took a chance and bought it, even though it's pretty expensive. I got it before he was born and started using it the day he came home. Immediately I realized how happy I was to have this. I haven't had any problems with it. I know some people complain about the app not working properly but the only issue I have experienced with it is it's slow to pick up a reading when you first turn the sock on. Which it states it will be slow for the first reading and just because it is slow to pick up on the app doesn't mean the sock isn't picking up readings, because it is and the base will still alert you if anything is off.
Pros: Accurate, Convenient, Easy to use, Sleep saver

Peace of mind for my med student husband

Things are always scary when you have your first baby but for my husband it was exciting/terrifying. He was finishing his first year of medical when we had our little girl. His biggest worry was something would happen to our baby while we were sleeping. He purchased a Snuza to calm his nerves but the more active our daughter got it would fall off and my husbands mind was not completely at ease. After doing some research I talked with him about trying the Owlet. We have had it for over a month and use it every night. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! Our little girl is a mover but the Owlet has stayed put. My husband is constantly looking at the Owlet app and being able to see in real time her O2 and heart rate makes him so happy and gives us both a very restful nights sleep. We love love love our Owlet and definitely recommend it for every expecting family!!

App issues all the time

I enjoy our Owlet, however both my husband and I have had a lot of issues with the Android and iPhone app. I have to open mine multiple times in order for it to work (iPhone) and my husband's phone constantly says our son is wiggling even though he is asleep.

We use the owlet everynight on our daughter. Before the owlet I was constantly checking my daughter while she was sleeping, and I was always worried that I would fall in a deep sleep and not be able to get to her If something were to happen. With the owlet I don't have to worry about that because I know it will alert me if there is something wrong. Even though it might alert me and it be a false alarm, I am ok with that!
Pros: Fairly easy to operate, Gives me peace of mind, Like getting to look at the readings on the app, The sock does not seem to bother my daughter
Cons: Range from base to sock is too short, Scared the readings are not accurate, The app seems to have some bugs, Unsure about the malfunctions it can have

I primarily use it during the over night sleep in order to give my daughters foot a rest. I how easy it is to put on & the peace it gives me.
Pros: Sock isn't uncomfortable & very easy to put on.
Cons: Application doesn't always work.

My son was born seven weeks premature and even though he didn't have trouble breathing I work in the medical field and wanted a way to continue to monitor his vitals when we got home. I bought the Owlet before he ever came home from the NICU. We put it on him for every nap and every sleep and it brought me total comfort and peace of mind. The Owlet is incredibly user-friendly and easy to set up. And the app is simple to use and very cute. We had some yellow alarms when he kicked it off his foot and some blue ones when we forgot to charge it. Never any red false alarms. But then things changed and not only did the Owlet bring peace of mind it also saved my son. He six months old now and recently had a cold/cough but otherwise seem to be feeling ok. We took him to the doctor and he was diagnosed with pneumonia and sent home. That night we had a red alarm twice indicating that his oxygen level dropped below 80 percent. We ran to him to check on him but he was sleeping peacefully. The next day I called the nurse and reported the red alarm. This in combination with some observations we conveyed prompted her to send us to the emergency department. There he was diagnosed with bronchiolitis RSV and pneumonia and a double ear infection and was hospitalized for two days. If it wasn't for the Owlet I would've never know that his oxygen levels were low and the nurse probably wouldn't have sent us to the emergency department. I absolutely do not dare to think what may have happened if he didn't have the early medical intervention that he did because of the Owlet. Even our daycare monitors our son with his Owlet aka Owly! The Owlet is worth it's weight in gold and I'd buy it 1000 times over again! Thank you for this product!!
