We use our owlet every single night. It's so nice knowing that our baby is being monitored at night even when we are asleep. Since we received our owlet and started using it, everyone is sleeping better in our household. Thank you Owlet!!!
Pros: Gives me piece of mind at night so everyone can.

I love my owlet. I have no issues of it falling off or giving false alerts. I love being able to check my child's vitals from my phone. We recently had a SIDS death in the family and this has given me the peace of mind I need.

I wanted to like it but cannot recommend

I really wanted to like this product. We have been trying to make it work for 5 months and last night was the last night I will use it. Despite trying everything recommended by the company, we still get almost night "yellow" alerts which wake both us and baby up. Baby gets woken up because the base station has to stay in her room because the range on the base station is more like 2ft, not 10 ft as claimed by Owlet. It would be really nice if the base station could stay in our room so at least she wouldn't be woken up by false alarms. The app is very unreliable and every time I open it I have to close it again in order for it to work. Last night, although I had disabled monitoring after a yellow alert at 3am, the app continued to give yellow alerts and woke me up two more times. At that point I deleted the app and have decided that was the last night I will use Owlet. I believe the yellow alerts are because baby's feet are cold. We have tried putting her in footie PJs with a sock over the Owlet and even this does not help. We have literally tried everything and I've been in touch with customer service multiple times and they couldn't offer a solution.
Pros: Good customer service, Peace of mind
Cons: Almost nightly false alarms (yellow and blue), App constantly malfunctions, Base station has to be right next to the sock, Difficult to travel with, Sock caused an ingrown toenail on baby's foot

Our six month old daughter aspirated during her nap. I came into the room to sneak in and get something and found her unable to breathe. She couldn't work through it and we ended up in the emergency room and staying overnight at a children's hospital. Doctors kept talking to me about reoccurrence and SIDS. When we came home I was unable to sleep, worried it would happen again. I refused to leave her in anybody else's care and woke her up all night. It was unhealthy on so many levels for both of us. That is when I ordered the owlet monitor. We are both sleeping again and I have even left her with grandma. We travel to my parents frequently and it is simple to switch wireless sources and to link to other people's phones. It has brought me the peace of mind to function again. An absolute must for any parent!
Pros: Can check baby vitals from anywhere using phone., Easy to move from house to house.

I am in love with the owlet! I had a nephew pass away due to SIDS, so now having my own children the possibility of SIDS has me terrified! Even practicing safe sleep with all of my kids, it still worries me. The owlet gives me the peace of mind I need. I now don't wake up constantly throughout the night to check on my daughter. I wish I would have had this product with my first two daughters! The price in my opinion was slightly high but for my husband and I the peace of mind outweighed any hesitation due to price. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I bought this for my daughter is who awoke with every wiggle of my grandson. We've all been there. Things like this were not available when she was a baby. There is a learning curve to set it all up, but once you do there will be no more unnecessary sleepless nights!
