I love the owlet! My baby girl sleeps all night and I do too, knowing the owlet will let us know if something isn't right. This is the best thing money can buy! Having peace of mind is priceless!

We have been using our Owlet since our baby was a few weeks old. The amount and quality of sleep that we got after we began using it was exceptional. If you worry about your baby and don't sleep because of it, this is for you! We even take it with us when we travel and haven't had any issues. The only issue that we have had is that our baby kicks the sock off every once and a while. He sleeps in a sleep sack so that may be the reason. We have been putting a regular sock over it and that has helped drastically. I would recommend this product to all new parents.
Pros: Baby doesn't notice it, Easy to use, Lets parents get more sleep
Cons: It must be charged nightly, No parents monitoring base station

As an ER nurse I have seen SIDS effect too many families and those cries are cries like no other. When I first found out I was pregnant one of the very first things I purchased was the owlet and I can say that at 3 months in it is my favorite mom product! I am able to sleep and I know he is being watched all night! I have recommend the owlet to anyone that will listen to me! It is a phenomenal product that gives worried parents a little comfort.

My experience with this monitor has been smooth, no issues of any nature. At first I was skeptical with this monitor because proper vitals reading cannot be obtained if baby is moving a lot which can happen if baby is suffocating, however, I realized that if baby is able to move that much, chances that he is able to cry are good. This monitor is not going to save your baby's life, after all, the parents will have to act fast if something is wrong regardless if the monitor detected the problem or not. The way I see this monitor is as another pair of eyes that will stay awake when you are not and that increases chances for your baby to survive in case of a crisis. I feel like there is room for improvement as far as the features of this monitor. For example, an accelerometer can keep track of baby moves pattern and alert parents of any dramatic change in this pattern.
Pros: Convenient and good design, Non invasive
Cons: Not able to monitor when baby is moving

Owlet has provided so much peace of mind and drastically lowered my anxiety at night. I love being able to check on my baby whenever I want right from my smart phone. It is so much easier than constantly getting up to check on him and waking him up half of the time by doing so. Our entire family has had more peaceful nights! From a mom who is always worried about the worst, this product is a MUST HAVE.

The Owlet is an amazing tool that can make a parent a little less stressed out. We have 2 children. Our first we were always worried getting up checking on him and risking waking him up when sometimes we couldn't tell if he was breathing or not. He has breathing issues as weather changes and it didn't help, we just never knew what to think and we didn't have the owlet available to us 5 years ago. We have our second child and oh my has things become easier and a little less stressful. We are grateful for having the owlet in our lives especially since the 1st month she had a fever over night and we did not know. Until the owlet alarmed us because of her heart rate was so high. We gave it another try and sure enough it went off again. Because of the Owlet it woke us up to check her and she was a very quite baby she didn't wake us up at that time if something was wrong. Thank you to the owlet for alerting us. We still use it as she is 7 months and she has had a few rough nights with congestion. It also is nice to be able to see if she has fallen into a deep sleep, so we know that she is getting a good rest.

I can sleep at night now

I love my owlet. I was having panic attacks in my sleep. I'd wake up thinking the worst. Now I can sleep knowing that the alarm will wake me. The only con was that when I got it my baby was only 1 month old and is already wearing the biggest sock size in the kit. They do make one size bigger but I will have to go buy it in addition to the original cost.
Pros: Easy to hear alarm, Relief of anxiety, Works with your iPhone through an app
Cons: Biggest sock size in kit is small

Great Idea, not perfected

I love the idea and philosophy behind this product. Our son has some acid reflux issues so we got this product hoping to ease our mind if he were to spit up and choke we would be alerted. It worked great the first couple weeks. Then we started to have a lot of connectivity problems. The Base station and baby were in the same spot as always but the "blue alert" of connectivity went off every hour from 2 am until we turned it off for good at 6 am for 2 nights in a row. I am now getting less sleep than before I purchased the item! Then the yellow alerts started going of despite the sock being on and in the same place as always, I did not even want to deal with it, we simply turned it off. I have an email into the company so hopefully we can resolve this as I really want to rely on this product and want it to work! The customer service seems to be very good so hopefully we can get everything resolved! Set up is very easy, however, and functionality is simple and efficient to use.
Pros: great company support
Cons: A lot of false alarms and connectivity issues
