Just ok.

At first everything was great. We learned which socks fit best and how to use the product on the app. Life was good. Until about an hour after the baby fell asleep the the monitor starting going off with a lost signal alarm, the sock was kicked off. So we tightened the sock and went back to bed. Another alarm! Sock kicked off again. I put a actual sock over the unit and life was good. Later that night the alarm went off with a connectivity issue again, but this time the sock was still on and the baby sleeps a few meters away from the base. Extremely frustrated from lack of sleep the sock was pulled of and set aside to try again later. I wish I could say nap time the next day went more smoothly but I can't. It kept losing signal! Also plugging the sock into the base station after every use becomes a hassle. Not only is the charge port hidden by the sock the cord doesn't like to go into the slot.
Pros: App for your phone
Cons: Loses signal often!, Sock falls off often!, Soothing song for problem notification.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the Peace of Mind the product gives me. It works really well and keeps me sleeping throughout the night. I just wish I didn't have to pay for Wi-Fi to use this product and it was portable so you could use it in the car. Most infant suffocation's happen in car seats. And please fix the Android crash problem and I would be happy to give 5 stars.
Pros: base always lets you know its working, great rangeof bluetooth and battery, peace of mind for NICU or new parent
Cons: keeps crashing on my android as i hear it dose., needs to be portable for car use, why need wifi when it hasbluetooth? $$

Love this product, but it does give yellow alerts frequently

The Owlet gives peace of mind, but it also gives a lot of false yellow alerts. I love that you can live chat with customer service, because they helped me make sure I had the sock on my daughter correctly. They sent us a new sock, and we still get some yellow alerts, but not as frequently.

Our sweet baby boy was born full term (41 weeks) in February and he had to go home on oxygen after a week being in the NICU. We bought the Owlet for some peace of mind after getting used to having him on monitors in the hospital. We figured it would alarm us all the time and keep us awake, but it only alarmed at necessary moments - super well made. At 9 weeks old it alarmed us about an excessively high heart rate, which he had never had before to our knowledge. After a couple days in the CICU they were able to diagnose a heart condition. My husband and I are so grateful for the Owlet. I would recommend this to any parent - especially those with oxygen and/or heart concerns for their babies.

My biggest worry with a newborn is when they sleep. I always feel like I can't sleep becuase I have to constantly check on them and make sure they are breathing and okay. This changes it completely for moms. I can leave my baby during their nap or at night and be able to finally get some sleep. I can check on them easily on my phone. It's so convenient! It's very easy to use and my baby doesn' mind the sock at all.

I absolutely love this baby monitor. I applaud its creators for a job well done. Peace of mind is priceless and that is exactly what the Owlet delivers. We have had no problems with false alarms and the Owlet works wonderfully. Thank you! The only other thing I would add is that the strap on the sock is a little bit difficult to fumble with in the dark - it might be better with snaps or something like that rather than having to push the end of the strap into a very narrow slot.
Pros: Peace of mind., Reliable., rechargeable battery., very easy to use.
Cons: Sock strap design is a little annoying to use.

This monitor gives me such peace of mind. It's nice that it even alerts if the home base gets disconnected from wifi. The only thing I would change is that it also alerts when it is reconnected so you know! It's only happened twice and only for a split second both times. Overall it's a great product and I highly recommend it to all parents
