Makes going to sleep at night easier

When my first son was a month old he stopped breathing in his sleep. (He is a healthy 2 year old now) We had a different type of monitor which sounded off when he stopped breathing, but it was difficult to use and you couldn't just move it from one place to another.. I purchased this product a month before my second was born. It is easy to use and move. Getting the sock on a newborn is the hard part about the whole thing. I sleep better at night. I do not wake up checking on him as much as I did with my first. It has given me a great peace of mind!

We started using the Owlet after our baby had an ALTE and was diagnosed with reflux- around 3 months. Until we had the owlet I felt as though there needed to be eyes on him 24/7, just in case. Once we got the Owlet I felt much better. We still checked on him very often but we were all able to rest better at night knowing that if there was an issue then the Owlet would sound.

Peace of mind at night

This is a well designed product and gives us the peace of mind at night that baby is ok and breathing. Our Little girl was born premature and spent 10 weeks in the NICU. Due to the fact that she is at a higher risk for SIDS, we purchased the product.

As first time parents we worry about our son a lot! It gives us much needed peace and rest knowing that he is being monitored even when we are sleeping. It fits comfortably and doesn't interfere with his sleep. We love that the light sims on the base station for night time.

This has helped us so much! My little guy was born at 27 weeks gestation. He had monitors on him 24/7 in the hospital. When he got released he was still dropping his oxygen some and his heart rate, he also was still recovering from RSV. It scared us to sleep while he was in fear of his heart or oxygen dropping again. Until our Owlet came in, we had sleepless nights! When we got our Owlet we slept so much better!
Pros: Helps me sleep, Is fairly accurate
Cons: Doesn't always connect right

Before Owlet, I would wake up numerous times a night to check that my baby was still breathing. With Owlet I don't worry as much and actually sleep when my baby sleeps!
