I have the Owlet for 2 sets of twin Great Grandchildren

This second set of (2) Owlets I purchased is for the second set of twin Great Grandchildren we are expecting in October. My first set of twin Great Grandbabies were born in February and have had the Owlets on every night since. The mother of the first set is a nurse and knows and appreciates the value of the addition security.

Love our owlet. It definitely lets me sleep at night. There have been a few times where I have forgotten to charge it and then I'm up all night watching baby sleep. I like how it alerts you with the base station and your phone that way if I'm not the one home with baby, I still get the alerts. You can also turn it on and off with your phone. The two things I would change about it is to make the sock more durable. After a few washes and lots of wearing the fabric is really stretched out and the Velcro has become loose. Also, I would like for them to allow for the alarm to tell you what number of oxygen percentage or heart rate set off the monitor instead of just saying low or high when it alarms.
Pros: Alarm sensitivity settings, Wireless
Cons: Need more than one of the same size sock

I LOVE our owlet! I have an iPhone, so it isn't an issue for me. But, I have friends with androids, who won't buy the owlet, bc it isn't android-friendly. I also wish they would add a section where you can see previous alerts. Maybe per week.
Pros: Convenient, easy, peace of mind.

at first I was hesitant to buy because it is pricey. But. It is totally worth it, I am a nurse and a mom so it makes me more paranoid leaving my LO asleep on his own in his crib. But since we got the owlet, even my husband is more proactive to make sure it is on when he goes to bed. Not only it helped us get some sleep but it gave us peace of mind that our LO is safe and we are always there for him.

Words can't truly describe how thankful I am for the Owlet. I went back and forth about ordering for several weeks due to the cost, but after too many nights tossing and turning with anxiety about my daughter's health and safety while sleeping, I finally ordered, and I am SO THANKFUL I did! A couple weeks after receiving our Owlet, my daughter had an unexplained choking episode that took us in an ambulance to the ER. She was fine, and the doctors didn't really have any explanation for why this episode happened, but I could have cried with relief knowing that we could put the Owlet on her when we got home, and I could actually sleep that night. The Owlet has been one of the best purchases we have made!
