This is the only monitor I need!!

I use the monitor every night, it gives me peace of mind and allows for a more rested sleep. Instead of getting up and possibly waking my baby I just check to see the green pulsing light or I'll open the app to check his vitals. I also use it as an indicator for how deep he's sleeping.

Having a newborn with an airway that collapses when she breaths is really scary and a stressful. The owlet sock is definitely a life savor. My husband sleep so much better at night. The thought of knowing it's going to sound if something is wrong with her helps keeps a lot of stress away.

My son had reflux and would forget to breathe every now and again. I think I went 3 months with barely any sleep from constantly checking on him and refusing to put him in his crib. I got the owlet after talking with a friend who had it and absolutely love it. It is the only reason I get a good night sleep.
Pros: Peace of mind
Cons: Loud alarms for disconnecting from internet

As a first time mum, I didn't know what to expect from my baby - every little sound and movement made me jump. To add to my stress, I work in the medical field so I've seen some frightening things, which made me more worried about my daughter. A fellow doctor recommended the Owlet and I purchased it immediately. Since using it, the product has exceeded my expectations. Hospital pulse oximeters are a bit fumbly so initially I was worried I'd be getting alarms every time my baby would move, as the device wouldn't be able to register a reading. However, the design accounts for this and tells you via the app when baby is "wriggling" rather than giving an inaccurate reading. Also, when the sock is out of place there are sensors which inform you of this rather than alarming you of an abnormal reading. All of these measures help to give you peace of mind without any shocks. The app and sock are adorable. Would recommend this product even for veteran mums, as it helps monitor baby's physiology so we can respond quickly if something becomes a bit off.

I wish I would have had the first month of my son's life. I hardly slept due to worrying about everything! Once I had been using the Owlet for a couple nights I finally slept! Such a relief to have a "second set of eyes" watching out for my son!! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Love this product, but it won't stay on a wiggle worm newborn, even with a baby sock on top of it. I'll try it again tonight and hope for a less wiggly baby :)

Peace of mind is Priceless!

We are proud first-time parents of a four month old baby. When we began transitioning to the crib, we found ourselves constantly checking on the baby for fear of SIDS. It was sometimes as frequently as every five to ten minutes for the first hour he would go to sleep. We quickly realized that we wanted some type of instant feedback to assure us that his heart rate and breathing were fine. The Owlet has given us peace of mind that you can't put a price on. Our only complaint is that there is no "history". We experienced our first red alarm the other night and instantly woke up our baby. But we have no idea what triggered it since we just jumped up and shut off the alarm. Was it the heart rate? Was it the oxygen level? If the heart rate was low but the oxygen level was normal, then there likely is no cause for concern. But we have no idea. It would be nice if the app kept track of alarms, or if it gave you the opportunity to review a graph of all of the vitals for a 24 hour period. This information would be helpful for both parents and pediatricians.
Pros: Gives peace of mind
Cons: Sock to base range is limited
