Peace of mind

Yes, this product is expensive. However, it is completely worth the peace of mind we get when our seven month old wears it for each nap and at night time. We love being able to see her real-time heartbeat and oxygen levels. We sleep so much better knowing that the Owlet is "keeping an eye" on her while we can't. The reason I give it four stars is because occasionally, we get a yellow alert and don't understand why. The sock seems to be in proper place & there are no barriers to the base. The yellow alerts are not common. As other raters have stated, I also wish the parameters were changeable. I also feel they are a little low before the alarm sounds. All in all, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I LOVE our Owlet! The first night we brought our baby home we didn't have it hooked up and we barely slept checking on her. The next night we hooked it up and we've been sleeping sound ever since. There's a huge piece of mind rolling over in the night and looking at the base station seeing that green glow and knowing my baby is ok. I love that I can look at her stats on the app too. We had a few false alarms at the beginning when we were figuring out how to get the sock on right so hang in there if that happens because once you get it the sock works like a pro! We couldn't be happier and I won't go a night without it. I would buy this 100 times over and she'll wear it until it no longer fits.

There is nothing more peaceful yet more nerve racking than the sound of a silent baby monitor to a parent. Since we have purchased the Owlet, I have slept soundly knowing that her vitals were being monitored and that not hearing her cry meant she was fast asleep. As a physician, I spend my day analyzing vital signs. There is no better peace of mind than being able to check my precious daughter's if I need to and knowing that I will be alerted if something is wrong. Set up for the Owlet was simple, putting on the sock at night is a breeze, and we are all sleeping better.

Owelet let me sleep at night

I love this product. I am a new mom and my husband and I would sit there and watch the baby sleep and tap him to make sure he was breathing. After buying this I have been able to sleep and know that he is ok. My only complaints are that the blue tooth isn't that strong and occasionally the base goes off even when the baby is two feet from it. I also wish the baby could sleep with footie jammies but it's not really possible with the sock on. Small sacrifice to make sure he is ok at night and during nap time. I have recommended this to my friends and a few have purchased one
