I really like the product. It helps me sleep at night especially because my baby is sleeping through the night now. I just can look over and see the hub is green. However, my baby doesn't like it so much, and will wiggle out of it when he can. It doesn't happen as often now that I put the size 3 sock on.
Pros: easy to change sock size, Easy to use, Piece of mind
Cons: it can come off, the hub has to be pretty close to the sock.

After having a baby that went straight to NICU for breathing problems, I immediately purchased the owlet. It has worked great from day 1, and has given us great peace of mind while we try to catch up on sleep. Easy to use and set up. Completely worth the money. I highly recommend.

The most frustrating thing about this product is that the sock constantly disconnects from the base. The "bring sock closer to base" troubleshooting suggestion NEVER solves the problem, this is after you've soothed, socked, changed, re-swaddled the baby. After 2 months it seems our sock no longer is working, the red light is permanently off. The sock is plugged into the base and will not register that it is connected. We had high hopes for this product but have foundbit to be unreliable.
Pros: Alarms are distinct and loud, Color coded functions, GREAT Idea, If and when it works, easy to use app
Cons: Frustrating product, Great idea, has a long way to go, Malfunctions often, Sock Disconnects from base constantly, Sock stopped working/red light after only 2 mos., Tech support N/A when you would actually use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an easy user friendly peace of mind. The app is simple and walks you through set up. The alerts pop up on your phone so you can decipher the meanings. Excellent support team. I only use it as prescribed, when baby is sleeping or napping. We had our child 9 weeks early for no reason other than he wanted to see the world! When he came home at 37 weeks we were nervous with his apneabradycardia still in the back of my wife's and I's minds. We researched different monitors and ended up happily purchasing the Owlet. When you compare it to a hospital monitor.... it's cheap, but very expensive compared to other monitors on the market, but sooooo worth it. Plus we are talking about a life here not the color of new paint for the walls! We do have another monitor that clips onto his diaper for when we are traveling, using the stroller, or between charges of the Owlet, but we call the Owlet our primary monitor. I could go on for hours about this bad boy, but I feel you get the gist. We are planning on using this for our future new norms and also through the family of our 6 siblings now and letting them have the sound sleep we have had with our new born!
Pros: AND IT WORKS....WELL, Clean, sharp appearance, grows with baby, Easy use, intuitive, wonderful support, wireless, Multiple sizes for feet, Preemie - 18 months(ish), Switch between left and right to avoid sores
Cons: Not great distance from base to monitor

I was hesitant about purchasing the Owlet because of the price & false alarms. There hasn't been any false alarms yet and we are a week in. I sleep so much better knowing that my baby is ok. I would recommend this to anyone.

It gives me peace but I still go check just to be sure Booty monitor is thick and annoys baby and he kicks it off have to use a sock and feet pajamas
Pros: I can know of baby is breathing without going in
Cons: Baby hates it, Booty falls off, Bulky not comfortable, False wiggle readings, Monitor very short range

I had another monitor that clipped into the diaper but I couldn't use it with my cloth diapers and disposable diapers because the cloth streached the monitor out and If baby fell asleep with out the monitor on I had to undress and wake him to get it on. The owlet is so much easier. I can slip it on any time and it's so simple to use. Plus I love that even if I'm not home I can still check on my little one using the app.
