Because of the monitor I was able to transition my baby to sleeping in his crib in his room by 1 month of age with peace of mind knowing that if anything bad were to happen I would be alerted. This led to better night's sleep for mom and dad! We have only had 2 false alarms, he has worn it every night of his life and is now 4.5 months old.
Pros: Peace of mind
Cons: Wish there was an android app

Cons: App can get stuck after refresh, Doesn't store data, Not clear how long baby in distress before alarm, Sock can be tricky sometimes

4th baby, 1st time sleeping

I have never been able to sleep the first year with any of my babies. I first purchased a onsie monitor, but it would give me wonky data. Alerting me through the night that she had rolled over when she hadn't. So I exchanged it for the Hero that is clipped on her diaper. Well she goes through lots of diapers so I was constantly taking it on and off. Plus it made her new belly button bleed some and was too bulky. So we recently ordered the owlet. Loving that we can make payments. While the phone app only works half of the time I'm not too worried about the data it sends anyhow. So far she hasn't seemed to notice the footy and as long as the base is monitoring her I'm able to finally sleep!
Pros: Reassuring for the worried mom
Cons: Phone app not 100& its not mobile

Use at night to make sure there are no issues with breathing. Product has issues with connection. Tried contacting customer service with no answers. Not worth the money I paid.

Best product I have ever purchased. When my preemie arrived, who also has reflux, I was getting no sleep at night constantly checking on her, making sure everything was okay. With our Owlet monitor, I sleep without any issues knowing the sock is closely monitoring the baby. Have never received a false alarm, and I love being able to pull up her oxygen level and heart rate right on my phone. I highly recommend this product to friends, and family, also to my colleagues in the medical profession. Thanks Owlet for such a wonderful, well developed product!!!

Last night was the first night home with our baby. In the hospital we could hardly sleep due to us not hearing her coo and breath so we would get up and look at her. Now that we are home, we put the owlet on her and were able to sleep for a few hours due to the peace of mind it gave us. I checked the app several times before falling to sleep to get used to how the app looked. The only alarm that went off is when we took her out of her crib into our room for a middle of the night feeding and the monitor lost connectivity, we moved her foot and the monitoring re-connected. I would buy this again in a heart beat and will recommend it to everyone that is expecting!
