Being able to use Owlet on my newborn daughter was the best gift I could ask for. After the moment she spit up breast milk in the hospital I began to worry. What if I wasn't there? What if I had been sleep? What would happen? Fortunately Owlet was there for us to be able to take away my worries even just a little. It's literally rest assured.
Pros: Being worry free at night.
Cons: Wishing I had more

I am a new Mom and had heard about the Owlet my entire pregnancy. It wasn't until we brought our baby home that I purchased the Owlet, I had terrible post partum anxiety. I was not sleeping at night and could only sleep when we had several family members over to watch our baby, making sure her chest was rising and falling consistently. I am also an RN and with that comes knowing every little thing that could go wrong, so needless to say my head got the best of me. The first night we used the Owlet I slept SO GOOD. I am so thankful I purchased this monitor. It is incredibly easy to use and the app allows you easy access to readings and information. I LOVED that the app walked me through setup and if there were any issues with the internet or Bluetooth connection the app also shows you several alternative fixes before it says to call tech support. I would buy this over and over again. It gave me complete peace of mind! Thank you to the makers of Owlet!

I purchased the Owlet for my nephew who was born at 26 weeks. I wanted my sister to be comfortable bringing him home and have the ability to monitor his saturation and heart rate. He has been home for a week and the Owlet has only worked twice. After contacting customer service they sent out a new base station, while the base station works, the sock is now not working. I will be returning the Owlet and requesting a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a traumatic delivery (HELLP syndrome), so when I was finally able to go home with my baby girl I would sit up and watch her sleep, constantly checking to make sure she was still breathing. As a health care professional, the idea that I could monitor her heart rate and O2 sats at home was extremely comforting, allowing me to get the rest I needed to heal and be at my best to care for my baby. And as she transitions from her bassinet to her crib, it will be invaluable to our continued peace of mind.

Our baby girl came home from the NICU after six weeks. She was born 10 weeks early and we were very anxious new parent. It was so nice to have this monitor as a back up while our baby girl sleeps. We love the fit of the sock as opposed to either systems that are out there. There is much more flexibility with the sock.

We use the product mostly at night when we are sleeping. I've lost a child to SIDS 11 years ago and have used other apnea monitors. This monitor has no wires, it just a sock he wears. i know the app doesnt always work but it that isnt a reason not to use it. i love it and will continue to use it and sing its praises.
Pros: We can sleep peacefully at night, When left with a sitter, im not stressing out
Cons: The App for my Android phone doesnt always work
