I use this product while my baby naps throughout the day and of course at night time, while she sleeps. It's comfortable for her to wear. Since she started wearing it, i have slept so much better. Gives me peace.

I would buy this over and over and recommend it to ANY new mom! It gives me such piece of mind, especially with my child in her own crib in her own room! I don't have to constantly run in there at night to check her heart and breathing! This has been the BEST! It is expensive, but SO WORTH the piece of mind! Will definitely recommend and use for future children!

By far this is the best money I have ever spent. When I found this, I immediately purchased it for my newborn. the product provide real time readings and notifies you immediately of there is an issue. I wish I would have had this for my first child. My only "complaint" (if you want to call it that) is I wish the product had an add on base or something similar for portability. say one for home and one for on the go or one to leave with the babysitter.
Pros: Best monitor, Ease of Use, Real time information
Cons: lack of portability

We are so grateful for our owlet! Our little one was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery at a week old. After one week in recovery he was doing well enough they let us go home after a week of surgery. We were so scared to bring him home and not be able to monitor his heart rate and oxygen. Then we found the owlet! We sleep better and feel so much better knowing we can check his heart rate and oxygen levels so easily. It has set off an alarm when our little moved just right. But other than that we are grateful we can have peace of mind especially as our little one continues to recover.
Pros: Peace of mind, Sleep!
Cons: Will send off alarm if baby moves just right.

We have used this product every night and for most naps since it was delivered to our home. It has given us significant peace of mind since our baby stopped breathing at home when she was only two days old.
Pros: App shows real time HR and oxygen levels, easy initial set up
Cons: App can be glitchy, Baby has to stay near base station

After my 35 week old baby boy was born we spent 21 days in the NICU. We saw many episodes referred to as "bradys" where his heart rate and O2 levels dropped and his face would turn dusky. It scarred the daylights out of us. I sat there holding my precious boy and thought "I will never sleep for the first year of this kids life, how am I going to do this!?" I started researching different monitor options but wasnt happy with the reviews of crib monitors. I was about to settle when somehow I stumbled across the Owlet. We bought it and took it to the hospital with us to try it out and compare. It was spot on with the hospital monitors! He is now almost 5 months old and we have had 2 red alarms (within the first month). I am positive this has saved his life and somehow at the same time lets me sleep. It travels easily and is quite easy to set up. The cost was a bit surprising at first glance, but when you really look at what it does it is worth every penny and then some. LOVE our Owlet!!
Pros: Easy and acurate
Cons: Sock velcro wears out after a bit

We use our Owlet monitor every night with only 2 false alarms occurring in the 3 months of use. Due to our infants special needs and the effect that her condition has on her ability to breath, this is a must have. Having this monitor has allowed us to sleep without worry and become our lifeline. Improvements i would like to see: extended base range, adjustable settings to suit individual needs
Pros: Design, Long Battery Life, responsive customer service
Cons: Only to used for sleep, movement cause read issues, short range to base

Essential baby monitor!

At first, my husband and I decided to "skip" the Owlet because of the price point. At the 3 weeks our baby unfortunately got RSV and had low oxygen levels and we decided to go ahead and spring for the Owlet so we could monitor her when we got home from the hospital. Best purchase we ever made. It has given us so much peace of mind and allows me to rest at night knowing I've got an extra set of eyes watching her. We have never had problems with any false alarms or incorrect readings and we are going on 5 months of daily use. Customer service is fantastic the one time I needed some helping troubleshooting. If you are on the fence about getting this - don't be. Get it. I've recommended it to a couple of friends with babies and they both are in love with it as well. If I could have only have three things for my baby it would be diapers, Owlet, and wipes. In that order!
