Our daughter has found the Owlet monitor to be safe, reliable and easy to use. It's great too because when we (grandparents) babysat their 3 week old daughter while they had an evening away, we were able to monitor her on my iPhone .....Easy and so comforting! Thank you!!

Ive had the owlet for 4 weeks now and it's honestly the only reason I sleep. It took some trial and error to figure out the best positioning of the device but once we figured that out it's been great. We get the occasional false alarm but those are mostly once a night due to difficulty reading the device.

My wife and I were initially hesitant to get one of these monitors. She was worried that the potential for 'false warnings' would ramp her anxiety through the roof. But after the tragic passing of an aquaintance's newborn from SIDS, we decided that this was a necessity for us. Instead of us constantly physically observing our little boy for movement and breathing, this solution provides a much more accurate, constant and reliable way to monitor his vitals. The setup was incredibly easy and intuitive and the video at the end was terrific in answering a few questions I had and making sure installation and attaching the sock were done correctly. The sock doesn't seem to bother him at all when he sleeps which was something I was concerned about. The result is that we are both getting a better nights sleep which trickles down in a positive way to everything we do now. Long may it continue.
Pros: Simple Controls, Simple, easy set up
Cons: Minor concerns about wearable devices

The owlet is a great tool for peace of mind while the baby (and my wife and I) are sleeping. But the sensor keep disconnecting from the Internet. And the app doesn't work all the time either. I know that it is not a diagnostic tool, but I wish the sensor would stay connected to the Internet so we could see the baby's HR and Pulse ox readings.
Pros: Love that it gives a little peace of mind
Cons: Keeps disconnecting from the internet

I LOVE the owlet it is my peace of mind, I would highly recommend it especially for new moms and dads. The only thing it needs is a bigger sock because my baby is not your typical sized 2 month old. Other than that I love it and I'd buy it again completely worth every penny
