I received an Owlet Smart Sock monitor to review, and it's given me immense peace of mind at night. We all know that feeling when your newborn sleeps longer than expected and you wake up with a start and rush to check their breathing. With this monitor, I'm able to sleep soundly without worrying because I know that it will alert me if his heart rate or oxygen level dip above or below the standard levels.
Pros: Doesn't have false alarms like movement monitors, Easy to turn on and off each night, Slips easily onto baby's foot, Uses diff. tones for technical errors
Cons: Must have iPhone app to receive alarm details, Takes a few steps to set up initially

I love this product! I'm horrible with anxiety and this helps me sleep. I use it co-sleeping and it works great! Perfect for any mother especially those who suffer from anxiety. I was skeptical because of the price but being able to pay payments is awesome and I HIGHLY recommend it!

We waited until our son was 3 weeks old before ordering this. In hindsight, I wish we would have had it the day we brought him home. While it doesn't replace common sense or safety, this tired mamma sleeps just a little easier with it. We had tried another movement monitor had had lots false alarms and functionality issues. The Owlet took just a small learning curve, but after a few naps we were pros! Wish we had it sooner!

I have already recommended this product to many people because my wife and I wouldn't know what to do without it. It is such a peaceful product knowing our baby is being monitored every second that she isn't awake with us or our babysitter. We know how she is doing at all times and that allows us to sleep soundly.
Pros: Allows my wife and I to sleep with no worries., We know our daughter is being monitored.
Cons: Alarm during middle of night when sock falls off

I got this for use with my second baby after using angel care with my first and experiencing more false alerts than I can count. So far the smart sock has been great. You do have to make sure it's on securely enough so baby doesn't kick it off but once I figured that out I haven't had a problem. The only thing I've noticed is it seems to take a few minutes to get all synced up once turning it on bc it will say baby is wiggling right after I put it on even if baby is completely still. After a few minutes it seems to work great. Already way happier than with the angel care.

I heard about the owlet from a friend and after showing it to my husband he decided to purchase it. We are first time parents and figures it could help us get sleep. Even tho I had it on the first week I still stared at her and the vitals on the app. Then I felt more comfortable getting sleep. My baby is now a month old and we had our first red alert. We have been trying new feeding positions due to forceful letdown and we both fell asleep in my bed, which I myself don't typically do. I was feeding her around 1am and around 5am the red alert went off. I must have moved away from her in the night and she had rolled towards me and her oxygen level got low. I was able to jump up and pick her up and now she's doing just fine. As far as the price I will say that my babies life is worth way more than the cost of this. Without it I may have had a very different morning.

After having our baby early at 28 weeks, she spent 2 months in the NICU. I was nervous when bringing her home because she had been on monitors at hospital. The owlet was such a big help! We put it in her at night and it gives me a chance to sleep better knowing it will alert me if her heart rate or O2 levels drop.

I put it on him after his bath and turn it on when I lay him down. Don't like the fact that you have to have wifi to get the reading on the app
Pros: Love that I can sleep knowing he has the owlet
