I use the owlet every night and it gives me a better piece of mind. My sons oxygen levels ended up dropping in the hospital before we came home so this product allows me to sleep knowing if something were to happen again I would get notified.

When you open the app you see the phrase "rest assured" and it could not be more accurate. With our first I would worry about every little thing at night and check on her constantly. This made getting good sleep difficult. We have the Owlet with our second little one and I sleep more soundly knowing that I will be alerted if something were to happen while sleeping. We have had some nights during which we are notified that the sock isn't getting a reading when it is fitted on just like normal and has been fine for multiple hours. We have attempted to move he base on these nights which works for a little bit but then we hear the notification sound going off maybe 20 minutes later. On these nights we end up just turning it off until the next feeding. I also wish the app wouldn't have to take so long to open up sometimes. Overall, I would recommend this product to everyone with a newborn. Thanks for the better rest Owlet!

Usually works well for us. Sometimes the sock is too loose and if baby kicks in her sleep, it loses the connection and alerts us, waking us all up.
Pros: Gives peace of mind when the green light glows
Cons: Goes off if baby moves a lot in sleep, Hard to adjust the sock if baby is asleep

We have had a really great experience with this monitor. No false alarms and not many disconnects. We leave the base station in the nursery and use our phones with the app. So, the only problem we had is forgetting to turn the alerts back on for the base station (sound) one night and as the app was being updated we couldn't use our phones. There may be another way to bypass this but we didn't know how. Otherwise every night has been great!
Pros: Peace of mind, Super soft sock
Cons: App updating at night

Love the peace of mind I get and don't feel anxious or guilty for getting a good night sleep. My anxiety of having a baby, especially a preemie, would overwhelm me if it weren't for this device. I bought this ahead of time and never knew I would a) have a premee b) have increased anxiety after birth due to postpartum hormones and the owlet helped me relax more because I knew it was tracking my baby's heartbeat and oxygen levels.
Pros: Never have to worry what happens while I sleep
Cons: Newborn sock light made a mark on my premee
