This phone has incredible features and battery life. The iPhone 17 falls short on reception, it seems my 14 Pro was better in that regard. I almost regret upgrading because of this issue.

If you are an iPhone fan, the newest version doesn’t disappoint. Not really much new, to speak of, for everyday users, but still a nice upgrade if you are looking for a new phone. Battery life is still a bit disappointing, as I have not noticed a noticeable improvement, but that is to be expected while the phone is completing new installs.
Good phone, but not hight-and-day as compared with the iPhone 14 Pro Max I traded in for it. The much-touted battery doesn't seem to last much longer than the old phone -- even after several years of use. There's a lot of foof in the OS, though it looks cool, it doesn't generally represent useful improvements. I haven't learned some of the new features, so grain of salt. Overall, a decent purchase and trade-in, especially since I already have an 'unlimited' data plan. Very different story if I'd needed to upgrade from a 'limited' plan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. We’re sorry to hear Siri hasn’t been responding as reliably as you’d like, we know how frustrating that can be, especially when you’re counting on quick answers. While Siri is designed to improve over time as it learns your voice, occasional hiccups can happen. You might find it helpful to check your device’s Siri settings, ensure your microphone is clear, and update to the latest software for the best performance. If you’d like, we can walk you through some quick troubleshooting steps to get Siri listening more consistently.
In the meantime here are few steps you can try and see if it helps with resolving the Siri issues:
1.Make sure “Hey Siri” is enabled: Go to Settings > Siri & Search and ensure that Listen for ‘Hey Siri’ is turned on. You can also toggle it off and back on to re-train Siri. 2.Verify your microphone is working and unobstructed, and that your device isn’t muted. 3.Ensure your iPhone has a stable internet connection, as Siri needs this to respond accurately. 4.Restarting your iPhone can help clear temporary glitches. 5.Consider updating to the latest iOS version if an update is available. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, Apple Support can provide further guidance to help Siri respond reliably. We appreciate your patience and hope these tips help Siri work better for you.
I really like my iPhone 17 Pro Max! It is a little heavier built than the 12 Pro Max and for me that’s good. Put it in a good case and a nice screen protector and you are good to go. It is so responsive it isn’t funny. All it takes is a light touch so be careful you don’t accidentally erase an app from you Home Screen (I’ve had to restore a few).
