The phone is a very good upgrade. I like the unique look and premium feel of the phone. The battery life is amazing and lasts a very long time. The charging is very fast as well. Also the new features on the phone are helpful and interesting. Overall, really good phone.
I recently got a new Iphone 17 Pro Max and honestly I am not impressed. The phone wouldn't complete a copy, its quirky and honestly its not that great.
When I tried to copy the data from my Iphone 14 Max. It kept failing, I tried different times and it just would not copy, I ended up having to use the icloud copy which took hours.
The next major issue is that new software, I really think its buggy. It sometimes does the passwords and face ID and other times it won't take the passwords, you have to go searching for them. Its also quirky, messages lock up, pressing a close screen or changing screens don't work. It froze on apple car play.
I would not recommend upgrading. It really isn't ready for release. If the battery on the Iphone 14 Max wasn't at 80% I would have kept the iPhone 14 for a few more years.
Usually when I read these, I blame the user, but I work in IT, and I'm very technically savy, so I'll take some blame, but I think the phone and software still need work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
