I regret getting this phone. I connected it to my car Bluetooth and no one can hear me. It keeps breaking up and when I get out of the vehicle, it doesn't automatically connect to my AirPods like my 14 would. It has this option of listening through one device and speaking from another. I have to constantly be tinkering with that to ensure that I have a voice output on the device I want. As if connecting on and off Bluetooth on your car or AirPods wasn't enough. I have a phone that I have even use for its intended purpose! It is so infuriating and I just want my old phone back. Also, the face recognition camera takes forever to open the phone. It is so annoying. DO NOT PURCHASE!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your experience with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. We’re sorry to hear that the Bluetooth connectivity and Face ID features have been frustrating for you, as well as the difficulties with device switching between CarPlay and AirPods. We recommend checking for the latest software updates and consulting the official Apple support resources, as updates often address connectivity and performance issues. We appreciate your honesty and hope future updates or support options enhance your experience.
Wonderful Phone IOS 26 is a little buggy but Apple is great at getting things updated.
Cameras work great for a phone seen some phones have some great cameras and Apple is getting there.
AI is a bit of a let down I switched from 14 pro max to 17 pro max. Using text to speech gets something wrong almost every text compared to my 14 pro max.
Design is a bit different but not a bad phone really love it.
I’m wondering if the iPhone 17 Pro Max has some issues…..some glitches such as when texting, the screen freezes up and then catches up. Not sure I should have given up my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
