TV doesn’t work and won’t stay on

I bought this TV in November and finally received it in January. It won’t stay on and it doesn’t work. It’s also already installed on my wall, so that doesn’t help either. I have spent many hours with customer service and they have not been able to help. They also won’t exchange my TV saying it’s not in stock. This has been the worst experience!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Frame TV. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with turning your TV on. If the TV screen is black, it is generally caused by a loose power cord, or a connected external device is turned off. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

1. Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.

2. If your TV does not turn on, check whether the remote control sensor is on. By holding a reflective object like mirror under the TV, you can easily find the remote control sensor.

3. If the remote control sensor is not turned on, unplug the power cable and plug it back in.

4. Disconnect and reconnect the One Invisible Connection or One Connect Cable between the TV and the One Connect
Box. Make sure that the One Invisible Connection or One Connect Cable is not pinched or bent sharply.

5. Check the remote control sensor again. If the LED is turned on, press the power button on your remote control to turn
on your TV.
- If the remote control sensor turns off when you press the power button, your TV is correctly connected to the power supply.
- If the TV screen is still blank, softly tap it with your finger. If the part of the screen you tapped on blinks, your TV is correctly connected to the power supply.

6. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

On the remote, press the Home button. If the Home Screen appears, the TV is turned on but the connected external device does not work or is not connected correctly. Please check the following:
- Check the connection of the HDMI cable to your TV or One Connect Box. - Make sure that the external device is turned on.
- If it does not turn on, make sure the power cable is properly connected to the device and to the wall outlet.
- Make sure that the correct source is selected on the Home Screen.

If the same problem continues, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.

See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer

If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it.
- Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
- Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

Amazing, One of a Kind Swivel TV!

A Must for modern technology lovers. This TV and its unqiue Swiveling Screen is a Show Stopper for any home. The Angle is perfect for viewing content and the picture quality is top notch. I LOVE MY SERO.

Great until you want to use You Tube TV App

great tv but unlike other samsung tvs, the you tube tv app crashes every time you use it. look up the black screen of death issues everyone has. every other samsung works great with you tube tv except this very expensive one. all this trouble to hang and set up and now i have to figure out how to get tv that works. save your money, buy real art and a real tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible mount

to echo other reviews, there's almost no way to install the tv according to their instructions. their instructions call for four screws per bracket, but the brackets aren't long enough to guarantee hitting two studs (they would need to be at least 24" wide). basically if you're lucky, you can hit one stud, and then have to try something with drywall (or take the drywall out and add wood blocking behind the wall).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesomely Designed TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of Box experience was really straight forward. After that setup was super smooth. Overall transition between Portrait and Landscape mode is really amazing. Picture quality is at par. Space was also super comfortable and fits into my office room perfect.
However bit disappointed with less support of Portrait mode Apps. I wanted to try some of the streaming apps in Portrait mode but seems the support is not there. But a good side is if you open any App and the TV is set to portrait mode, with user input it does switches to landscape mode.
So far really happy with the TV.

The Sero is more than just a Smart TV

I use it as a Smart TV for streaming my favorite shows and it's always cool to show family and friends how it rotates not only with my remote but with my Samsung phone as well. I love how easy it is to pair with the Smart Things app, which doubles as a remote but also makes it a seamless experience to mirror my phone. This is where that uniqueness comes in when I want to view my social media feeds on the big screen. It brings a whole new level of experience to viewing social media content. I can view pictures as well and it's great being able to share content with others in the house rather than hovering over the phone. Music sounds great and it's easy to use my music apps on the TV. Another great feature is the Ambient mode and Cinemagraph feature. I can select a nature scene and listen to calming sounds before bed, while the screen dims automatically. It's very calming and I enjoy the many options available from the fireplace to a rainy day. One other feature that may not be discussed as much is, I also use this as a second display. The Sero has an HDMI port but I was curious to see if I could connect my computer wirelessly to it. I was able to have the Sero be a wireless extended display from my Windows laptop. The Sero is more than just a Smart TV. It displays artwork which adds to the background in the home. It serves as a way to share my phone content in Portrait Mode & as a second display. There's so much more to explore with this rotating TV!
