Great picture and volume quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I was going to need a sound bar when I got my TV because I have a large living room with vaulted cielings, but this tv puts out impressive sound quality as well as quantity! The picture is great and it's a joy to watch! I wasn't happy with the remote as it is small and hard for me to deal with. They told me when I bought the TV that if I didn't like it to come back as they kept several of the old style with lots of buttons and they would give me one of those. I'm much happier with the old style, but that's just my preference. Overall no complaints with the TV and I look forward to many years of enjoyment!

i purchased this after my older samsung plasma bit the dust. this tv is much thinner and has a smaller frame which is nice. the picture is very clear and easily visible from all angles.
i like the home page where you can select apps to run. the settings feature is also very handy and easy to navigate.
the only drawback is the volume. it's horrible. we had to purchase a soundbar, about 2/3 the cost of the tv, in order to hear what we're watching. so keep that in mind when you're considering the total cost of ownership.
despite the sound issue, i recommend this tv.

Thank you for choosing the 2021 AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for your review. There are several volume features you can adjust to your liking.

1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.

2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.

3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

Also, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.

Used as a computer monitor for multiple computers

i work from home and just bought this to use this with multiple laptops connected.
1. the picture is incredible!
2. i used to have a big ugly switch system to switch which laptop i was viewing, now i just talk into the remote and it switches in 1 second. no more switch/cabling mess.
3. i loaded all my tv apps, and again, just talk into remote and watch whatever i want when im not working. samsung tv subscription is built right in and free, i get some shows i cant find elsewhere.
4. the sound is very clear, conference calls sound like the other people are sitting right there.
lastly, the footprint is minimal, its so thin you can hardly see it from the side and the stands are minimal also. it looks very sleek and clean on my desk.
i haven't found anything bad about it yet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV, beautiful picture, one hiccup.

so far so good. replaced a 4 year old lg that had memory issues with apps i didn't even use. the picture is great, the features are easy to use and understand. it found my xfinity cable and ps4 without having to do anything but the simple setup process. very smooth. also nice to have wifi that works. my lg's never did. the legs slide and snap right in, which was the best leg experience i've ever had in a flatscreen.
the only issue i had was on day 6 (its been 13) when i turned it on the screen was going black every few seconds then back on and repeat. the home button screen with all the apps and settings was still visible even while the picture was black. power off and on didn't fix it, but pulling the power cable out the back did, and so far it hasn't happened again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tv like looking through a window!
