This model needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV to watch movies and music videos using satellite tv and streaming services. This is my sixth Samsung television and I am not impressed with this 2021 model. It came with a small smart remote that is more difficult to use due lack of buttons that were on the older remote. The screen seems to be even darker than older models, even when using the brightest settings.

Thank you for choosing the 2021 AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your thoughts regarding the remote design and image brightness. There are a few steps you can should know that may improve your experience with your new TV.

Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.

If you are unsatisfied with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

I hope you can use these adjustment recommendations to set the image to your liking.

LOVE IT!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how SUPER Clear this TV is. I replace a plasma TV that made my room really hot. This Samsung is Clear it has all the functions right at your fingertips. I did not care for the remote control. I miss having the numbers. I was wondering how much space really does have the number pad take up why did they remove them.
I did download the Samsung remote app and I use that too.
This TV has some really great features. You have all your apps for streaming and access to the Samsung Plus TV shows. I like how those stations comes up on the guide and tell you what is on. I am happy with my purchase. I own a 65 inch Samsung in my living room and I just purchase this for the my bedroom. You will love this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still getting used to the TV. My old Samsung was plugged into a sound bar. When I substituted this TV, the amount of sound varied wildly from station to station, so I switched to the TV sound. It improved greatly, so I unplugged the sound bar. Now the sound portion of my Spectrum remote does not work at all and I have to control the sound with the Samsung remote. I don’t know whether this is the fault of the TV or what, so I’m awaiting professional help.

Excellent tv but..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s an excellent tv but, I’ve never had so much trouble syncing a sound bar with a tv before. I ditched my vizio sound bar and bought a new Samsung one in hopes it would sync easier but, it didn’t. Other than that the picture is amazing and the tv works great!

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your review. Your experience connecting a soundbar to your new TV is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.

We recommend using a wired connection rather than using Bluetooth. For the best sound quality and performance, connect your soundbar with a Digital Audio Out (Optical) or an HDMI (ARC) cable. HDMI is better if the only external device connected to your TV is your soundbar. Otherwise, Digital Audio Out is usually the better option, depending on your setup.

However, if you prefer to connect using Bluetooth, please keep the following in mind:
- Lip-sync errors may occur.
- You can only pair one Bluetooth TV to a soundbar at a time.
- The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.

You can't use Bluetooth devices and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature (also called Surround), or TV SoundConnect simultaneously.

Electronic devices may cause radio interference and other issues. Devices that generate electromagnetic waves must be kept away from the soundbar, such as microwaves, wireless LAN devices, medical equipment, etc.

A Bluetooth device may hum or malfunction:
- When part of your body is in contact with the Bluetooth device or the TV.
- When there are obstructions in between the TV and Bluetooth devices, such as a wall, corner, or office partitioning.

The soundbar may not perform Bluetooth search or connection correctly under the following circumstances:
- If there is a strong electrical field around the soundbar.
- If several Bluetooth devices are simultaneously paired with the soundbar.

The best TV EVER...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw this TV I thought to myself girl you got to have that so when the Tv came and we set it up and turned it on it was like I was at the movies the experience of my life without having to leave my house the next model up I will be getting it for my back room I am totally in love with this TV everybody that comes in my house it's the first thing that they see this this TV everybody is putting it on their wish list. Thank you I appreciate everything and I shall be returning I have more things in my cart. Please notify me when the next Model come out the 9000 thank you.

This TV has an amazing picture
