Thank you for purchasing the 65" AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for your review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the picture quality of your new TV powered by the Crystal Processor 4K bringing you exceptional detail and clarity in every scene.
There are a few troubleshooting steps to try if you are experiencing issues with your TV powering on unexpectedly:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem.
5. Disable the Power On with Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
Please know, if you are using the device through HDMI, it could cause the auto-on, as Anynet+ is enabled.
Occasionally connected devices such as game consoles (PS5, Xbox) or cable set top box sending turn on signal, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on.
Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+, then disable.
If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at:
1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.

I am obsessed with our TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV. The remote control is so intuitive. I had no idea how simple it would be to set up Hulu, AppleTV, Netflix, YouTube. The whole arrangement took 10 minutes and now I have thousands of choices! I also didn't know the TV came with Samsung TV and so many additional stations. It's a dream. The picture is amazing, clear, and the size is perfect for our space. The TV sits on a 60" mantle over the fireplace and balances our living room perfectly.

Great tv at a great price

The price point is great especially for those that are waiting to replace their older sets. The smart features are great as well supporting many apps and services such as AirPlay and tv provider apps which make it easy to avoid cable tv boxes.

More than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture looks 3D. Honestly, this TV performs above expectations. The deait you can see in the picture is amazing. I can see the pores in the concrete in my video game.
The sound is amazing as well. With the sound bars available, I didn't expect such a range of sound.
