Poor Picture Quality and Worse from Off Center

the picture quality is poor. i tried many combinations of the different settings. even at its best, the lighting is off. from straight on, it's not too bad, but if i am watching from off to the side, the whites are very washed out.
i am using amazon firestick with amazon firetv recast to watch with over the air signal. this all worked much better with my prior samsung tv. same white-washing when i tune to the samsung tv channels.
i have the 50" model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have attempted adjusting settings and the image is still not to your liking, I may suggest exploring the QLED line of TV's from Samsung starting with the Q60A. The Samsung Q60A is designed with Dual LED technology which allows the TV to balance color and brightness more accurately than conventional Edge Lighting arrangements. Samsung TVs with Dual LED also produce a wider viewing angle, making it better for everybody watching. Starting with our Q70A, our models feature a Wide Viewing Angle designed to let you see the full picture with brilliant color — no matter where you're sitting. Decent TV for the price paid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two hdmi plugged into TV, 1 for Xbox series X and Amazon firetv. When playing game, TV change to game mode automatically.... not sure how the true motion 120 looks like but I'm satisfied with the 60hz. Watching videos from Netflix from Samsung app looks great, can't complain.

bought this television as a replacement for a vizio. the picture difference is truly stunning. vibrant colors, smooth movement, and the color palette is unparalleled. i'll add surround sound later, which should give a great movie experience.
works very well for video games too, with a fast refresh rate that eliminates lagging.
