Worked better than expected right out of the box.

i was expecting to have to buy an amazon firestick of roku to get any web based service. not so. it has a wi-fi built in and everything worked the first time i tried. easy to set up. picture absolutely great.
the remote is a little different and takes some learning. spent a whole 5 minutes on that. otherwise, everything worked as expected.
best electronic product purchase i ever made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

my 2yr old ru8000 screen diode burned out. they replaced it with a au8000 the supposed equivalent.
let's just say i want my old tv back.
the black screen is so horrible. any dark/night scene is impossible to see whats going on. even in a pitch darkroom. i have another 5yr old samsun that does a better job
the tv has a memory leak, it goes for awhile then it freezes then crashes. especially when using the samsung internet app. my old samsung not a problem.
sometimes watching netflix, prime, disney, etc. it crashes and have to restart the tv
lost volume twice, had to restart the tv.
uninstall/reinstall app, mfr reset, and now a new motherboard. same crap. it's pure garbage.
rather have my ru8000 with the burnt out diode

Nice picture quality

Best TV i've had

i bought this tv reluctantly since i was looking for a computer monitor for my mac pro.. the results were unexpected. the picture quality rivals that of any high end monitor.. ......and i get the bonus of having a real tv in my office awesome!

Great product with an unfortunate setback

the tv itself is wonderful regarding picture quality and resolution. however, i cant really enjoy this wonderful tv when the screen freezes at times with the remote control malfuntioning once every few times. my main issue us the remote control. theres a serious lag between when a button is pressed on trh remote to when i see a change on the screen. sometimes its more than 10 seconds. sometimes the screen just freezes which is where i hit the home button to reset or worse case, power off the tv and restart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To assist you with your remote control lag issues let's ensure your TV’s firmware is up to date with version 2022.0 which includes updates to remote responsiveness. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
