excellent picture. works well used in main bed room and as primary tv. easy to see from broad area as side view area. the tv is able use a bluetooh as well other etc.

overall the tv is quite nice. i am really impressed with the clarity and detail of the picture. however, it keeps have issues with connecting to my wifi. i will be watching something and then it ill say that the connection went out. most of the time it comes back on with a second or two. however, i have had to troubleshoot a couple times. i just purchased this tv a week and a half ago so i am not happy about the connecting issues.

The feedback you have provided regarding the Wi-Fi connection issues you are experiencing are important to us and will be shared with our internal teams. We suggest you try the following to troubleshoot and resolve your issue:

1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router

Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware (v.1903.0). You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Additionally, to optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.

This improves your apps performance as it frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

easy set up, easy downloads of all apps. picture, clarity and color are all top of the line. i purchased a samsung soundbar to accompany the tv and the sound will blow you away like you are in a dolby surround sound theatre. this is my 4th tv in the house and this one by far has the best sound and quality. would recommend getting the accompanying samsung sound bar that comes with a subwofer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice TV but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the main TV for the house. I decided to purchase after reading several revues. For the most part it is a good TV. There are a few shortcomings.
First. The manual is a joke. You'll learn little from the manual except how to install it. Assembly is pretty easy. The setup is done by a menu and isn't too hard.
Second. The remote is really hard to use. It lacks even the basic buttons, like numbers. Normally I control the TV with the satellite remote.
Third. The sound level seems to change often. I find myself adjusting the volume up and down regularly. Not just from channel to channel, but during a show.
The worst things said, the overall quality of the TV is great. The packaging is more than adequate. There is Samsung TV Plus that allows streaming and OTA viewing. This is a nice feature.

Your feedback regarding your experience is important to us and your feedback will be shared with the product team.

Many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears.

Regarding the volume fluctuations, Auto Volume is a feature on Samsung Smart TVs that helps to avoid volume fluctuation when changing between channels or sources on the TV. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.

The most impressive television I've ever seen

The screen is the most vibrant I have ever seen. I am just in love with this television. Completely worth the purchase. I will warn it does tend to get slightly warmer..well hot than my last television.. I'm not sure if that is common .. I'm thinking of getting a cooling mat like for my laptop

Samsung AU8000 review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is amazing for a mid range TV. l would recommend this TV to any one whose in the market for one. Since the TV is so thin. The audio isn't that great. I recommend getting a sound bar if you buy this TV.

Thank you for purchasing the AU8000 TV and sharing your thoughts regarding the image quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
