Great TV

Did a lot of research, back and forth on a lot of tv's. I work audio/ visual for a living. Just wanted a great tv. I own a lot of Samsung products. Picked this one, glad I did! Great right out of the box, and easy to work with. Just what I needed and very happy so far.

Great picture, but slower than my dead grandma when scrolling through the channels.
On a wired Ethernet at speeds of 220+ mbps and it crawls.

Terrible sound

Sound quality is terrible. You have to turn volume up so much to even hear it. I have other Samsung TVs that I love, but I definitely regret this purchase.. I wish I had purchased a different model. Also, I frequently have to reboot the TV for apps to work and the remote is unresponsive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic screen until not

Bought Oct. 2021 - backlight died this passing week in July 2023. No, it is not a connection issue, etc. Huge fan of Samsung products, my house and housemates are in general as well (cellphones, multiple TVs, and so forth). I'm hoping to get it repaired, assuming it doesn't cost as much as a new TV b/c the visual quality was great as were device compatibility\features (sound-wise...maybe get some external speakers) and w\ an antennae even low quality broadcast stations came in great (not to mention the IPTV options I never knew existed). I only got it b/c the venerable LN46B650T1FUZA series in the bedroom finally kicked it w/ it's backlight also going out. Overall, good product, get speakers, extremely short life span at the moment (can read that as bad build quality), future iterations will probably be better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not waste your money

Horrible UI, I bought this over a Roku tv for my living room because I wanted something a bit nicer in the living room. But Samsung decided to just add on to the worlds e-waste with this absolute garbage of a TV.
Picture quality is not the best, and the UI is so laggy, feels like it takes so long to do what you want, that movie night is over before you are able to get the movie started.

Back light went out after 14 months

The TV menu gets slower and slower with use, even with maintenance. Backs lights went out after 14 months. Our last Samsung lasted 10 years. We’re very let down by this brand.
