Perfect for a classroom

As the tech coordinator for an elementary school, I am happy that we chose this model for all of our classrooms. Only one of fifteen TVs has occasional problems connecting to the wifi network. The rest are big, beautiful, powerful TVs that are perfect for a classroom of 25 kids. The audio is fine too, but we purchased Samsung HW-S50A soundbars to boost the sound to a level that richly fills the whole room. Half our TV's are now two years old, and continue to function perfectly. Thanks for a great product!

Good starter level smart tv

blu ray player finally went kaput. so, i invested in a 4k tv and accompanying 4k blu ray player.
this tv is a good starter for me into the 4k world. with an internet connection i can finally cut the cord with cable and enjoy my favorite apps. plus my 4k player works beautifully with this machine.
my only gripe is that this is not a qled and as such can’t handle the judder of 4k resolution as well as i had hoped. that said, this tv is a good bargain.
recommended for novices and/or comsumers who just want a smart tv for streaming services.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Display

Power supply, unreliable

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Enjoying our new TV

Originally purchased another brand that was defective from day one , returned it for this tv, glad I did. The picture quality is beautiful and love the apps and voice control. Would have given it a 5 but the sound could be a tad better. Other than that it’s great. Would buy again.
