Terrible clouding

Got this tv set up last week and there is horrible motion handling on sport where it is just a completely blurry screen. Worse however, is the terrible clouding that makes any dark scene in a movie unwatchable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback on your AU8000 TV’s picture when watching fast-motion. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.

- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

My son bought this tv for me and I swear before I must’ve been living in the ice age. This picture is so clear I can see the pores on peoples skin and my PS5 graphics are banging!!!

I love everything about this television. It is easy to set up, the picture is wonderful and the price is very good for the great quality of what you were getting.
The only reason why I don’t give it five stars is for some reason the version of VUDU that Samsung TVs have access to won’t let you play the free movies they offer on other systems like TiVo.
Other than that this is a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this TV about a month ago, great color great picture. It takes a long time for the channel to go to full screen. I have to wait for full screen to appear.

the picture is great. the smart functions took some time to figure out how to work the way i like but are great. volume is an issue though. i can have my 43” samsung on 16 but the 53” needs to be on 50 for the same quality. when it is cold outside only on the 53” do i have to wait about an hourusing samsung or an app feature before regular caable is available

You can select a Sound Mode that you prefer for a content type or your listening environment. Go to: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

You can also customize balance and equalizer settings by going to Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings

Had to reset twice

would have loved if the wireless signal did not have to be redone twice to get this to work had to reset the tv twice (factory reset to get it to work). would aslo love if iti could access my google library on it like i could with my sony

To troubleshoot your Wi-Fi experiences, we suggest you try the following:

1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router

Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience.
Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Additionally, to optimize the TV’s performance, try running Device Care, which improves your app's performance by freeing up unused cached memory and closing background apps. Go to: Settings > Support > Open e-Manual, then select Device Care.

Could have been great

Really decent picture but honestly dim and terrible sound. Looks like a weak offering in this sector. Picture is really good if you monkey with it but sou d and brightness will never be enough for me to justify purchase. I returned it and bought Hisense u8h for slightly mire money and am thrilled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
