Curved screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv when my 50 inch plasma needed replacing. The only thing I would change is that this model is the curved screen model and I would buy a flat screen. The picture is great. I use a sound bar for better sound quality. I stream, cable and use the music channels. I would do It again in a heartbeat.

UHD 65 Samsung TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this as our main tv. It has a great picture and contrast balance. I use this with my Xbox X series console. I love the colors and gameplay. Movies are crisp. Especially in 4K.

I watch TV more now than ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was the best b-day gift!! I fall asleep to my TV all the time. The picture is awesome and the curved screen is like being at the movies! It was the BEST when I had a Superbowl party! I have a neighbor who comes over a lot more to watch new movies and sporting events! This TV is a WINNER! Can't wait to move to my new home so I can do the wall mount!! It's just been a year ago since I got the TV......no regrets at all #major :-)......I wish the camera on my phone could depict the real time crisp clear picture of the TV!

Great TV, awesome features, useless remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this TV for watching over the air, streaming and recorded content, as well as a secondary monitor for previewing video editing projects. We also use it for monitoring security cameras.
The picture is terrific and the customizable settings are very useful for us. I'm not a huge fan of the OS, but it's usable.
What I don't like is the remote, and how you have to do so much clicking navigation just to switch channels or input devices. Give me a real remote with real buttons for inputs, channels, etc!

The picture is great but remote is not sensitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has a great picture but the remote is delayed a little. So when I click on the remote it takes a second or two to move the cursor on the TV. My old 55-inch Samsung TV doesn't have this issue. Also would like for it to be able to be adjusted brighter.

Thank you for your feedback on the AU8000 TV's picture quality and remote response time. Samsung prides itself on high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please know we are here to help you.
First, let's make sure you are running the latest software. To do so, head to Settings>Support>Software Update and update from there if needed.
Next, you may also want to optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
To adjust the brightness on your TV, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic
Or manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection.
