Everything great just one issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I don’t like it’s that my tv screen has some weird blots or brighter areas on the edges around the TV. I noticed it when I first purchased thought maybe it was the movie or had to settle in. But no. It’s like the screen or projected. It doesn’t loook bad but it is noticeable when watching movies that are more on the Darker setting for sure

Thank you for your review of the Samsung AU8000 TV; we are happy to hear you are enjoying your TV. We are here to help, and I have a few troubleshooting tips that should help with your image quality issues.

First, let's make sure your firmware is up to date. To do so, head to Settings > Support > Software Update. From there, you can easily update if needed.

Next, 1. Run a Picture Test on the TV.

Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, select OK and then view the test. You can choose Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the image a second time.

2. Determine if issues are appearing during the Picture Test.

Look for issues on the screen during the Picture Test. If there are no spots or brighter areas, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines.

- If the spots still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
- If spots appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.

3. Request service if spots appear during the Picture Test.

If you see spots during the Picture Test, please visit our Support Center to request service. When calling, ensure you have the TV's model code, software version, and serial number. You can contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:
1) LiveChat with an agent
2) Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info

Great Tv not happy with the remote though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family recently just bought a 55" 4k samusung tv, and so far the picture and sound quality have been great. My one complaint with the Tv is that the remote is really unresponive and only works when you are stamding within 8 feet of the Tv.
