[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an older person I was introduced to smart tvs from roku. My family fell in love with the idea of watching all our favorite shows and movies. But all changed when I was invited to my cousins home and saw his Samsung TV. He was streaming a football game from his TV. So I said that was cool because you are sharing your screen from your cellphone to your TV. I too did this with my roku, the only problem is some times I have buffering and lagging issues when mirroring. He said no I'm not mirroring but playing this from the tv's built in browser. Well unfortunately roku doesn't have a built in browser.
Making a long story short I have sinced bought my second Samsung tv and in the process of buying a third. I am replacing all my roku tvs. My Samsung allows me to go to my favorite websites, read my kindle books, and with the Alexa app my tv has endless capabilities. Another favorite feature that I love is the Samsung channel. My wife and I have several of our favorite channels saved.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had an issue with the 7000 series. There was a power outage and I lost my tv. Because I was in my warranty window Samsung took good care of me. But who came out to do the repair didn't do his job correctly. The tv went out again 2 weeks later before Samsung refunded me. I took that money and purchased the 8000 model and my tv is doing great.
I am now officially Samsung from my cellphones, refrigerator, and tvs. I will continue to support Samsung.

The Smart Hub Works flawlessly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is easy to set up I love that I can use my phone in the startup function to make start up quicker. Also the fact that I can mirror my phone to the TV and show my photos and videos to my friends and family makes it very user-friendly. I noticed when I got my TV about a year ago that my energy usage has gone down slightly on my power bill which is very nice to have a better TV and use less energy
