I am very sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the initial out of box audio performance and are having difficulties learning the functionality of the included remote.
To assist you in learning the functions and settings of your new TV, you can download the full user manual and remote guide directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the AU8000under Q Series.
Should you need any additional assistance with settings or features of your soundbar please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for Soundbars), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
For additional support resources, visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for:
1) Chat with Us/Product Help: To begin a chat or find solutions, choose ‘TVs & Home Theater’ and select your model & topic.

A little short of greatness

this is a superb tv. one of the thinnest on the market. but it has been stripped of common connectivity. no headphone jack. only pairs to a single device.
i tried to pair two sets of apple airpods. unable, the tv is loaded with bluetooth 4.3, not 5.0 or grester, so only one device can pair. so you resort to trying to connect them via a bluetooth transmitter. airpods dont have volume control when not connected to an apple device. so that is a dead end. how kuch room did a 3.5mm jack take up?
samsung, i hope your planning a software update of this tv to 5.0/5.1 bluetooth, its my only hope to use my airpods with it. just to add some background, pun intended, ambient noise environments wrech to audio, and buds/pods are the choice way to go. give me the option!

Love our new TV

we bought this tv for our bedroom because my husband wanted a bigger tv than our previous 42”. we love it! it has a beautiful picture and is a perfect size for watching tv in bed. would definitely recommend.

Amazing picture!

i absolutely love this tv! i needed to replace my old toshiba that was dying and this more than fit the bill. i needed another 50" tv because of my limited space. i think, otherwise, i would've gone with a 55" or 65". loaded with apps that i still have to figure out (lol) the picture is amazingly clear and the color is wonderful. the set up was pretty easy for a non-tech person like me. the remote is pretty good. i haven't set up the voice remote though. i guess i just don't need it. i'm afraid if i set up alexa in it, and i yell her name, every alexa thing in my apartment would turn on! one con though is the sound. it's terrible for such an amazing tv. thank goodness i have an awesome samsung sound bar. you definitely need one.

Great TV's

i have two of these tv's, one a 50" and one a 65". the pictures are great, they're easy to use and navigate, the smart remotes are amazing. my only real complaint is the speakers. these both replaced older samsung tv's and the sound is not even close to the old ones. i realize they're a little thinner so that plays into it. but i was super bummed at the quality of sound compared to the old ones. i now need to invest more money into the tv's and get sound bars or some type of external speakers for both.

TIZEN is terrible

the tv is fine enough for the price. i dont recognize anything different than all the other tvs in this price range. although, the tizen interface for streaming apps, etc. is awful. the menu is ugly and there isnt much personalization.
