the tv is a great product. love the picture. it almost lost out to a visio but i trusted the color and clarity due to seeing shak's face on it in the store.
i will admit the remote is a little tricky to learn how to use but i think i'm getting the hang of it now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

our first smart tv. took us awhile to get use to it and how to use the settings. picture is beautiful and the tv is easy to use. i wasn't liking the tinny sound but i read some of these comments and saw in the response how to adjust the sound in the settings. it's much better now and we re comfortable with the sound now. great tv. glad we chose this one. **** i think people have to understand the settings before they downgrade the product. maybe a better manual would work.

set up was much easier than i expected.
love most things about it, but still trying to navigate the remote. i feel they were trying to streamline it and made it less user friendly.

OS lags

picture is ok but everything lags — settings, apps, all of it. feels like using windows 7. tv doesn’t connect to my bose soundbar automatically. i have to do it manually every time i turned on the tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Interface is too confusing!

this was my first samsung smart tv. i don't think i used it for two days before i returned it. the format/interface is crap. whenever you are on the home screen, a video automatically plays. that is very distracting. when i scrolled through the channels, it did not indicate which icon was selected. i had to keep trying them until i get the one i wanted. and if i didn't get the one i wanted ..... back to the home screen with an annoying video.
as for the remote, very disappointed that was the best samsung could develop. there isn't even a 10 back or forward option!
to be honest, the picture was pretty decent. i am not a big fan of hd (it looks too much like soap operas), but it was starting to grow on me.

Learning curve for Remote & HDMI cables!

love the tv!
i had some problems mastering the remote as it different from any i've used before. now it is easy -- at first it was frustrating.
also, we hooked our downstairs tv to the with our existing displayport to hdmi cable. unfortunately, it was not compatible with a 4k tv. easily remedied.
so be aware, you may have problems if you use older hdmi cables with modern 4k tvs.
with that said, this is a great tv with loads of features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product

my daughter and son-in-law got this for my wife and i for christmas due to my expressed interest in a smart tv to get off of high cable bills. the set up was a breeze, plenty of loaded streaming apps and the download of new apps was effortless. picture quality still amazes me 2 1/2 weeks later.
I would recommend this to a friend!
