Not much to fault on this TV

great picture and super thin tv. the only thing i could fault and i am not sure it is that big of a deal is the tiny remote control. the remote control lacks many buttons that a traditional remote has and takes some getting used to. love the voice control though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i don't like the built in samsung tv app.. mostly older programming.. i prefer fire tv..
i added my fire stick but kept getting conflicts with samsung interface..
firestick would lockup or not show up at all.
i'm sure samsung tv wants to be primary app but it can't compete with fire or roku...
deal breaker for me...i won't by another samsung with samsung but in streaming app

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your feedback regarding Samsung TV Plus and your experience using an external streaming device. Your experience is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.

Please know, Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, removing the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove’.
2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service.
3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.

Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub
2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature
3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App
4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature

Should you wish to use an external streaming device instead of the built in smart features on the TV, you can utilize one of the three available HDMI ports to connect an external device. Once connected, simply change the source of the TV to match the input you used when connecting the device and you will be able to use your external device without issue.

great picture, great sound. so easy to setup, qr codes for most streaming services so i didn't have to type in email and passwords, which is difficult without a keyboard. connected to my sony soundbar easily so i only need one remote. connects to my s21+ too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

very slim & lightweight. set up was simple just everything has to be setup via internet. thought it would be bigger than it was for the space that i was using. will order the 50 inch. love the picture & everything thus far about the tv.

Poor field of vision and audio

nice picture, but color and picture quality fades rapidly off center. audio is very tinny despite using the equalizer- had to buy an external soundbar and sub woofer to compensate.

Great Picture, but …

bought this tv in nov. 2021. setup would have been fairly easy except there was not enought room around the antenna-in connecion to connect the cable-tv coax. bruised my fingers trying to attach it. and the audio is not good at all. this is my third samsung tv and i’ve never had any problems prveviously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
